December 2017[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm CityOfSilver. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Marilyn Manson have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. January 2018[edit]

Information icon Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Martin Gore. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 03:35, 22 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

March 2018[edit]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Tom Waits. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Binksternet (talk) 03:26, 11 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Placebo (band) into Brian Molko. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was copied, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 13:28, 12 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

April 2018[edit]

Hello, I'm RA0808. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Nick Cave seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, Del Marquis, but you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 10:18, 27 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced statements and original research[edit]

I noticed you are updating a lot of articles with your own opinions or research about the subject. Please note that we require reliable sources for information added to articles, particularly biographies of living people, and that our articles should not be based on our own opinions. Several people have talked to you about this before, and I hope you will start to take it seriously. If you have any questions, please ask here or at the Teahouse. Thank you. – bradv🍁 02:43, 14 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
