A tag has been placed on Talk:Jay-P, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

THis is a page that has escaped(!) from AfC, and been placed on the talk page of the intended article. Because it is at AfC and the article has been repeatedly recreated I suggest CSD to allow the editor to follow the AfC process fully.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Fiddle Faddle 11:17, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please follow the full AfC process[edit]

We have provided this for your benefit. Shortcuts are to be avoided. Await the review and only proceed when and if it is positive. Fiddle Faddle 11:20, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please help me to create an article on Jay-P with the information i placed on the talk page. Kindly advise me
If you click on the "redlink" Jay-P you will see that articles about him have been deleted three times because they did not show why he was significant or important enough to have an encyclopedia article, and in order to prevent further waste of time the title has been salted - protected so that an article cannot be created there without permission from an administrator.
The way to create an article is to use the WP:Articles for creation process. There is already a draft at Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Jay-P which is waiting to be reviewed. Work on that, adding references to significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources to explain how he meets WP:MUSICBIO. If the reviewer accepts it, he can ask an admin to unprotect the title; if not, he will give you feedback on what it needs. JohnCD (talk) 13:09, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
