User talk:Amruth M D
Hello, I'm Materialscientist. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 09:17, 16 February 2013 (UTC) Welcome!
Hello, Amruth M D, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one of your contributions does not conform to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy (NPOV). Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.
There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{Help me}}
on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Simplified Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Slp1 (talk) 14:44, 23 February 2013 (UTC)
Hello Amruth M D. I noticed that you recently removed sourced content from Save Indian Family Foundation without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. I restored the removed content. --Sonicyouth86 (talk) 18:28, 28 March 2013 (UTC)
- I also noticed that you removed the references in February before deleting them again in March. --Sonicyouth86 (talk) 18:31, 28 March 2013 (UTC)
Article probation
[edit] Thank you for your contributions to the encyclopedia! In case you are not already aware, an article to which you have recently contributed, Men's rights movement, is on article probation. A detailed description of the terms of article probation may be found at Talk:Men's rights movement/Article probation. Also note that the terms of some article probations extend to related articles and their associated talk pages.
The above is a templated message. Please accept it as a routine friendly notice, not as a claim that there is any problem with your edits. Thank you. --Sonicyouth86 (talk) 12:34, 4 July 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Free energy suppression conspiracy theory without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.
- Also, your source is rather dubious. That Kirloskar Electric "tested" the machine does not mean they understand the situation enough to validate the technology. What their testing entailed is not documented in the article. Please discuss in talk:Free energy suppression conspiracy theory before restoring per WP:BRD Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 17:48, 6 May 2015 (UTC)
- BTW: If it works and Kirloskar Electric uses it, it would no longer be suppressed. Jim1138 (talk) 17:51, 6 May 2015 (UTC)
Nomination of Paramahamsa Tewari for deletion
[edit]A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Paramahamsa Tewari is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Paramahamsa Tewari until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Arun Kumar SINGH (Talk) 17:42, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
This article has 12 refrences including India Today and Economic times. It is unfortunate that people are not following Wikipedia's policies as they are blindly following suppression tactics of mainstream media. Wikipedia which took US to court on Snowden issue should understant the relevence of this article. It has enough references and does not violate copyright.

[edit]Remember that when adding medical content please only use high-quality reliable sources as references. We typically use review articles, major textbooks and position statements of national or international organizations. WP:MEDHOW walks you through editing step by step. A list of resources to help edit health content can be found here. The edit box has a build in citation tool to easily format references based on the PMID or ISBN. We also provide style advice about the structure and content of medicine-related encyclopedia articles. The welcome page is another good place to learn about editing the encyclopedia. [edit]Your recent editing history at Dengue fever shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. [edit]Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to Rashtriya Swayamseval Sangh does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
- User contributions
- Recent changes
- Watchlists
- Revision differences
- IRC channels
- Related changes
- New pages list and
- Article editing history
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! Kautilya3 (talk) 10:53, 2 November 2015 (UTC)
