Page moves[edit]

Please do not move pages by blanking them - there is a page move function. For well developed articles, it is better to seek consensus before moving pages. I would suggest you do so at Talk:Goans first. Sasquatch t|c 05:01, 7 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Changes in Maratha Invasion of Goa 1683[edit]

Dear Avinash Cabral,

You have repeatedly made changes to the article of Maratha Invasion of Goa (1683). These changes do not fit into Wikipedia's editing policy. Wikipedia always relies on well-sourced content. I noticed you made the changes without giving any references to back them. Even after you give your references, other editors' consensus is required to make changes in a well-referenced article like Maratha Invasion of Goa (1683). Before making any changes in such a well-referenced article, other editors need to check and verify your references. Only if they are considered to be authentic and reliable by a number of other editors, then only it is appropriate to make the changes.

Your edits seem to be biased, they are glorifying one side over the other. You seem to portray the Portuguese as right and victor's and the Marathas as wrong and failures. When many sources which have been used in the given article state that the Sambhaji had really overpowered the Portuguese in this conflict. He retreated from Goa only to avoid the huge Mughal invading army of Muazzam. Otherwise Sambhaji would have easily captured Goa. These references are a authentic and have been written by credible authority figures in history. It is not the job of Wikipedia editors to take sides and talk about who was right and who was wrong. Wikipedia expects unbiased edits with a focus on objective facts. I am removing your edits. Next time, please get yourselves acquainted with the Wikipedia's editing policy, and don't do such biased edits. Otherwise your edits won't stay for long and other senior editors will keep on undoing your edits. If you keep on removing such reliable content your edits won't last long.

You seem to be a new and enthusiastic editor, with an interest about Goa. Next time, be careful about making any edits, I wish you luck in your Wikipedia editing journey. Regards, charvak157. Charvak157 (talk) 15:34, 15 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You give an explanation for your edits, but don't cite any sources to back your claims. If you keep on editing without giving any references, then your edits will be undone everytime. Only when you give proper references, then your changes can be published. Charvak157 (talk) 05:12, 16 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for May 23[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Divar, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Kadamba and Chardo. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 05:57, 23 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Sorry, but I reverted you. First of all, that is not how we move things on Wikipedia. Second, any such big move requires consensus, which is what talk pages are for. You may want to read WP:RM. But PLEASE do not go around copying and pasting text. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 20:55, 19 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your edits[edit]

Hi why are you adding wrong things in the pages related to mahabharat? EditWiki45 (talk) 01:50, 8 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello EditWiki45, the edits I made are not wrong, per se. However it must be noted that Pandu did not have any biological children of his own (because of a curse he received from Sage Kindama). The 5 children (Pandavas) he claimed, were not from his seed AvinashCabral (talk) 01:59, 8 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I agree but both of his wives never went through Niyog. They were blessed with children through the divine mantras provided by Rishi Durvasa. And according to the rules of the mantra the sons gifted by the gods are considered to be of the father.EditWiki45talk EditWiki45 (talk) 02:06, 8 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

And please don't do any unconstructive edits or i will now have to add souces to support my edits or may be bring this to the notice of any admins of Wikipedia. And I read your talk page and it shows that you have a history of biased anti-hindu edits. Please have a thought and revert your edits yourself or i will have to get it done by some admin. EditWiki45talk EditWiki45 (talk) 02:10, 8 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

OK, so we can remove the word 'Niyog' from the description box. However, since it would be erroneous to claim that they were his (biological) sons, we can keep the prefixes of "Biological-", "Half-" and "Step-" to help others understand the children's accurate relationship with their parents and siblings. AvinashCabral (talk) 02:11, 8 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

There is no Anti-Hindu bias, as the other individual was the first to make personal attacks and false claims. AvinashCabral (talk) 02:13, 8 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ok remove the word Niyog from all the pages and as far as the word biological is concerned it can be mentioned in bracket like i did. No need to add so many sub-headers. EditWiki45 (talk) 02:29, 8 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I have corrected all the mistakes and beautified the infoboxes. Also replaced the word biological with spiritual because according to the english version of VYASA MAHABHARATA it clearly mentions it as spiritual since Niyog never happened with Kunti or Madri. And artistic depiction is always better than puppet picture so please don't remove it. I have the pages under my watchlist permanently. Any vandalism now will lead to a approach by an Admin who to is now watching the pages. So please take care as of now. EditWiki45talk EditWiki45 (talk) 05:09, 8 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
