Re: Numbers[edit]

Hi Baeleigh

Thanks for all your copy-edit work on Tracy Morgan; it's much appreciated.  One minor issue, please note that Wikipedia's Manual of Style (MOS) regarding numbers (WP:NUMERAL) directs that integers zero to nine be spelled out in words.  But keep up the good work, and over time you'll find that the MOS and countless other WP:… articles will guide you as to WP's standards.

Personally, I found that including the {{style}} template on my user page ensured I had quick access to much of that information if I wasn't sure where to look and it was a good start way to start learning the ropes.  I add it here for your reference.

Cheers — Who R you? Talk 01:48, 11 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (season 5), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Nick Wechsler (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Manuals of style[edit]

There are some special rules that are part of MOS:CAPS that are in the MOS:ISMCAPS. "The adjective biblical should not be capitalized." Also, "Pronouns for deities and figures of veneration are not capitalized, even if capitalized in a religion's scriptures: Jesus addressed his followers, not Jesus addressed His followers (except in a direct quotation)." Also, MOS:NUMERO. Walter Görlitz (talk) 04:20, 9 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

To add to this, please don't use double hyphens instead of a dash. That might work in some word processing programs, but not on Wikipedia or in most browsers. The relevant guideline is at MOS:DASH. Thanks! Woodroar (talk) 15:41, 19 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
