Welcome!

Hello, Boxing Fan, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page Julio César Chávez have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and has been or will be removed. Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to James Kirkland (boxer), did not appear constructive and has been undone. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 17:52, 16 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Lennox Lewis. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been undone.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Why are you changing the result types to read incorrectly? Mac Dreamstate (talk) 18:14, 18 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop making disruptive edits, as you did at Thomas Hearns.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Stop changing result types without explaining why. If BoxRec is wrong, state the reason. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 08:04, 29 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop making disruptive edits, as you did at Mikey Garcia.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. You've been asked an infinite amount of times to stop changing the names of weight classes. Keep doing it and it'll be the edit warring noticeboard next. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 16:56, 30 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Weight classes

[edit]

Greetings. Please read MOS:BOXING, specifically the section on record tables. In the case of Jermall Charlo, he has only ever fought for the IBF's title(s) at 154 lbs, therefore junior middleweight should be used. If he later fights for the WBA or WBC's super welterweight titles, then it can be changed to the more neutral light middleweight. The consensus for these formats was established in November 2015. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 01:34, 19 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Again, Cotto fought only for the WBA's version of the 154 lbs title, so super welterweight should be used instead. Also, please stop adding the WBC title for the Álvarez fight, as Cotto had been stripped a few days before. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 22:27, 19 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
And you're still doing it: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. You've been asked repeatedly to read MOS:BOXING on how weight classes should be presented, yet you're ignoring this. So, I'll just revert your edits every time. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 17:08, 27 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion

[edit]

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. The thread is Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring#User:Boxing Fan reported by User:Mac Dreamstate (Result: ). Thank you. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 17:15, 30 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

User:Boxing Fan, if you make no response to this complaint you are risking a block. It appears you are making unilateral changes to a large number of boxing articles, while never responding to feedback. You have never posted to a talk page. Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 06:33, 31 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Gennady Golovkin. Stop changing the result types in record tables. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 23:34, 5 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would like you to assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not do on Anthony Joshua. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. You provided no source for your change, and your edsum was unnecessary, unpleasant, and unencyclopeadic. Dont do it, particularly coming off a recent block. Roxy the dog. bark 09:19, 21 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Canelo Álvarez. You've been told more than enough times to stop changing the record tables of either Canelo or Cotto to incorrectly display that the WBC title passed hands directly from Cotto to Canelo after the fight. Your edits are straight-up vandalism now. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 16:14, 21 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon There is currently a discussion at WP:AIN regarding your continuous disruptive edits at boxing articles. The thread is User:Boxing Fan. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 23:50, 21 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you remove or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia again, as you did at Ricardo Mayorga, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 02:39, 22 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Mike Tyson. You're still doing the same thing: messing up the record tables. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 23:10, 9 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
