Vandalism/Sockpuppet Case

Hi Cremepuff, could you please submit Vadalism/Sockpuppet case for User 71.139.18.27/Griot? I'm not a registered user, so I cannot. If you check this user's contributions, particularly to Ralph Nader, you'll notice the pattern. There is also a prior SSP on this user, and a history of vandalism and disruptive edits. He has harrassed me and other users repreatedly. Thank you. -- 76.166.123.129 20:45, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

Sorry bout that lol. I have been doing a lot of vandalism reversion lately and I guess i wasn't paying enough attention. -ĬŴΣĐĝё 21:23, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Can you request a protect for alcohol? It has been vandalized multiple times in the last 10 minutes. I'm still a kind of newbie wikipedian and don't know where to request a protect. -ĬŴΣĐĝё 21:26, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Hello there Cremepuff222. I have noticed your active vandal fighting, and because of that I request your opinion on a task force I have proposed. The page is here. Just a friendly note. --Tλε Rαnδоm Eδιτоr 01:34, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

A question

Why did you give an anon a level 4 warning?Arnon Chaffin (Talk) 23:11, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Note I sign your autograph book....Arnon Chaffin (Talk) 23:17, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
It is because the vandal or anon vandalise once and you gave him a level 4 warning, which should be a 1 or 2 , Regards-Arnon Chaffin (Talk) 12:56, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

I like yours a lot, Cremepuff dear, but what I love the most is that fantastic picture of yours! ;) I was just alluding the fact that Arnie took the format for his from Riana's, but "forgot" to mention it when you praised his userpage :0 He must have forgotten ;) Have a wonderful day! Yes, I remember you :) Sure, I'll try to help out a little at Portal:Anime and Manga. Feel free to also make tasks for others to do on it's talk page by using the {{Todo}} template. Btw, you made a typo in the headline of the message you left me (you used " instead of : in the link to the portal). Clyde (a.k.a Mystytopia) 21:02, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

Not a problem. I started editing the intro. Also, take a look at this. Clyde (a.k.a Mystytopia) 21:18, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
User talk pages can get protected, but usually when the user is blocked, and the protection is used to prevent the user from introducing vandalism to it, or after the user has abused the {{Unblock}} template. In this case, the anon never got blocked, the protection was used to prevent vandalism from the anon. Clyde (a.k.a Mystytopia) 21:27, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
Sorry, I don't. Clyde (a.k.a Mystytopia) 21:31, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

Monobook problems

No, I can't help you, sadly. My monobook is spaghetti code, and extracting a small amount could end, as in your case, in disaster. It's all or nothing, really. Sorry. Regards, —Celestianpower háblame 20:03, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

PS, you could try User:Misza13 possibly, or User:Alphax, if you'e really hell-bent on making it work. They're real whizzes on the old monobook ;).

The list.

You've made it. Acalamari 20:15, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

Good isn't it? Yes, it is a bit out of date; it says I have 10,800-odd edits when I know
I'm in the 12,000s, and you are in the 6,000s. Even so, it's still amazing we're on that list in the first place. If you include bots, indefinitely blocked users, banned users, users who have left, and IPs, we drop about a hundred places, but we're still pretty high up. Acalamari 20:24, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the notification. I actually like that a lot more, it can be put at the end of articles instead of within the text where it can crowd. I may even change my other lists to look the same. Thanks a bunch! -RunningOnBrains 18:49, 15 June 2007 (UTC)

I'd love it. I will have to go through to all the articles that currently have it and move the template to somewhere where it won't be disruptive, but that shouldn't be too hard. You can find the other two tornado lists at Category:Meteorology templates, if you don't mind. -RunningOnBrains 19:05, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
I'll take care of the moving. Thanks for your help, I look forward to using that format in the future. -RunningOnBrains 19:35, 15 June 2007 (UTC)

Sergeant Bluff-Luton Middle School

A "{{prod}}" template has been added to the article Sergeant Bluff-Luton Middle School, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. > Animum < 15:43, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, it's pretty funny. However, since only administrators can edit those pages now, it is unlikely that you will see that in the recent changes unless there's a real error. Clyde (a.k.a Mystytopia) 20:03, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

"A&P" AfD

Hi, you voted "weak delete" on the A&P (story) AfD on the basis of no sources. I have added some scholarly sources to the article intro which discuss a couple of takes English professors had on the story. In light of that I was hoping that you would take a look at the revised article and reconsider your vote. Thanks!--Bigtimepeace | talk | contribs 03:00, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

Board Candidacy

Hi! I'm leaving you this note because we've had extensive and/or productive interaction over the course of my time on this Wiki. I (yep, little ol' Jouster!) am running for election to the Wikimedia Board of Trustees. I would greatly appreciate it if you would please take a look at my submission of candidacy, and consider endorsing me, as that is a requirement for me to stand for election.

If you have any questions or concerns about this notice, please don't hesitate to poke me on my Talk page. If you object to this solicitation for endorsement, please do not hesitate to remove it from your Talk page with my apologies; it will not appear again.

I look forward to serving you all on the Board! Jouster  (whisper) 18:45, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

Problem with 'Technology Adoption LifeCycle'

Hi -- I need some help. For the first time in my editing of wikipedia, I've come to a conflict that is unresolvable by me. A user continues to edit Technology Adoption LifeCycle, removing content I believe to be relevant and adding links to a website I believe to be his company's. I have endeavoured to revise the page in a way that will not cause conflict, I have endeavoured to initiate a discussion about the changes on his personal discussion page and on the article discussion page, but none of these have worked. So I need to escalate this issue, which I've never done before. Can you help me with with it? (Sorry to ask you directly but I don't know where to start with this one; had a quick look in the FAQs and couldn't see anything relevant!). Thanks muchly for your assistance. Natebailey 22:07, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

Thank you so much!

Thank you for all that you have done!
How much love resides therein!
All one's gifts are never gone:
Not seen, perhaps, but stored within.
Kindness is an inner sun.

Your unspent heart a message sends
Of grace and sacrifice hard-won
Upon which happiness depends!

Thank you so much, dear Cremepuff!

Love,
Phaedriel

My dear Cremepuff

Thank you so much,
my dear Cremepuff! :)

Thank you for your friendship and your love!
However life may turn, this gift will be
A mountain that has made my river bend,
Nor will it flow the same way to the sea.
Knowing you is something I'm made of.
Years will not this part of me remove.
One lives for just a brief eternity,
Understanding truths that never end!

My dear Cremepuff, I have no words to tell you how deeply moved I am by your beautiful gift and your wonderful and warm gestures to me in the last days, which I haven't properly thanked you (time is slips through my fingers like sand these days!), but that I will remember as long as I live. In the short time we've shared, I've grown so awed at your kindness, and your loving attitude towards others, that your name instantly draws a fond smile on my face whenever I see it. I could say, we've just become friends; but it'd be more accurate to say, we were already friends, we simply weren't aware of it until now ;) May we walk hand in hand the roads of this newborn friendship for many years! Love you, and thanks again, Phaedriel - 15:07, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
