I have set up a Wikipedia:WikiProject Medicine/Psychiatry task force, and begun a discussion on the talk page for potential benefits. Casliber (talk · contribs) 10:30, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Help! neurological expert help required at the wiki dyslexia project[edit]

Hi I have just scrolled through the members of the Medicine task force participants, and you appear to be the only one listed who may be able to help. I am helping to edit the Wikipedia:WikiProject Dyslexia set of articles which includes the main Dyslexia article and some new sub articles *Dyslexia research (Sub category, main article) **Orthographies and dyslexia **Genetic research into dyslexia **Brain scan research into dyslexia **History of developmental dyslexia (The history of dyslexia is the history of dyslexia research) **Theories of dyslexia (Sub sub category main article) **Phonological deficit **Perceptual noise exclusion hypothesis *Management of dyslexia (Sub category, main article) **Managing dyslexia: alphabetic orthography **Category:Dyslexia support by country ***Dyslexia support in the United States ***Dyslexia support in the United Kingdom there could be more. Currently we are having problems with developing the Orthographies and dyslexia. the problem is to define the neurological skills required to perform the task of reading in the different orthographies of the different writing systems. Because until they are established it is very difficult to determine which neurological skill deficits will cause problems in which writing system. Any help you can provide would be very much appreciated dolfrog (talk) 17:47, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dear fellow Wikipedian, on behalf of the Kindness campaign, I just want to wish you a Happy Bastille Day, whether you are French, Republican or not!  :) Happy Editing! Sincerely, --A NobodyMy talk 18:31, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your research[edit]

Thank you for providing the newspaper article (huh? what newspaper article? Why this article of course! What do you mean you don't remember, you did it here). I have now produced the article and it has been submitted to DYK, but I didn't use that hook, I think I've found an even better one. You might want to check it for any medical howlers that only an electrical engineer could commit. I am also thinking of writing a stub for hypodermoclysis so it is not a redlink in the article. You might want to check out that one too when I write it! SpinningSpark 13:34, 19 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I wanted to take a moment to delivery a personal thank you (not "thank spam" :)) for your involvement in my RfA. (It passed 117-2-7 in case you hadn't seen.) I applaud you for standing up for what you believe in despite (at the time) unanimous support for my RfA. I certainly don't view you as a "horrible person" for believing that content creation should be everyone's top priority. I will take your criticism into consideration as I work to improve as an editor. If you would ever find my help useful, please don't hesitate to ask as I would be happy to help. Thanks again, ThaddeusB (talk) 17:13, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
