Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Tiger tank 222
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Tiger tank 222 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://tiger1.info/event-page/222-abandoned. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. --Ferien (talk) 21:53, 20 March 2023 (UTC)

Referencing
[edit]Hi, I've just declined a number of your drafts, all for the same reason – lack of referencing. Please note that everything you write must be supported by citations to reliable published sources; in fact, when you're writing an article, you should only ever summarise (in your own words) what such sources have said, and by citing the sources you are telling us which source said what. Please see WP:REFB for more advice. Thanks, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 06:18, 27 March 2023 (UTC)
- The same applies to your edit to the Battle of Mons article where you changed the result in the infobox based only on your personal views, and the Battle of the Mons pocket article where you added a totally irrelevant self-created photo. Please stop this unconstructive style of editing, or you will be blocked for disruptive editing. Nick-D (talk) 22:09, 31 March 2023 (UTC)

. Nick-D (talk) 22:13, 31 March 2023 (UTC)- Block is for adding an image to the Battle of Zeeland article that you'd added to Commons under an obviously false claim that you were the copyright owner, as well as the problematic editing noted above. Nick-D (talk) 22:13, 31 March 2023 (UTC)
Battle of Breda
[edit]Hi. I hope you are fine. I have removed a lot of unreferenced information. The new page review is one of the last approval stages, so when I see a page like this with a large amount of unreferenced information, and no {{In use}}
tag to show that the page is undergoing a major build, I tend to err on the side of caution and remove the unreferenced information. The easiest solution is for you to add the tag to indicate the page is still under construction (if it is). This prevents me and other editors from editing the page until the process is complete and the tag is removed. Please assume good faith of me, as I do of you. By all means add the information again when you can add the references. Best wishes, BoyTheKingCanDance (talk) 05:57, 9 April 2023 (UTC)

Missing bibliography on Ten Crucial Days Campaign
[edit]Hi, you recently moved Ten Crucial Days Campaign out of draft space and the article has inline citations to works that aren't listed in any bibliography and don't allow the text to be verified, contrary to WP:V. Would you be able to add those works to the newly created subsection in the references section to bring the article up to mainspace standard? Thanks, microbiologyMarcus [petri dish·growths] 15:20, 8 March 2024 (UTC)
- I've placed some citations that I believe to be correct based on last name and year, taken from American Revolutionary War and George Washington's crossing of the Delaware River. Can you confirm these are correct? microbiologyMarcus [petri dish·growths] 15:25, 8 March 2024 (UTC)

Decline reason:
I have no doubt that you are sincere but "I'll try to do better" is not good enough. You should think about some concrete steps you're going to take to prevent getting blocked again for this, and share them with us. — Daniel Case (talk) 10:42, 30 March 2024 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Speedy deletion nomination of Ten Crucial Days Campaign
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Ten Crucial Days Campaign requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://revolutionarynj.org/guided_tour/ten-crucial-days/, https://www.battlefields.org/learn/topics/ten-crucial-days-campaign, and https://www.history.com/topics/american-revolution/battles-of-trenton-and-princeton.
~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 06:34, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
