A tag has been placed on Mark A. Kukucka requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ninety:one 23:31, 6 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

To start, do not remove a speedy deletion template. I suggest you check out WP:BIO to see our criteria for inclusion. ninety:one 00:02, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Mark A. Kukucka, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. For more details about what, exactly, constitutes a conflict of interest, please see our conflict of interest guidelines. Thank you. ninety:one 23:31, 6 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • I see you have a large number of sources on your userpage. I'd like to use them to flesh out your article a bit more and more thoroughly establish notability. If possible, is there any way that you could sort them or label them in some way so that I know what they are without having to go to each link and read the whole page? I would greatly appreciate it. OlYellerTalktome 16:47, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Spaatz Association requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Userfication - to explain

[edit]

Short version: look here for the long version.

In summary, I've proposed pretty much putting it as a branch from your user page so that it can be further worked on and polished up. It's typically a good alternative to merely erasing an article outright, especially when there's potential for there to be a viable article.

--Dennis The Tiger (Rawr and stuff) 05:21, 11 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Since the page was recently deleted, would it be possible to revive the last revision and userfy (as a branch from my user page) as you proposed?

Mark A. Kukucka, MS, DVM, PhD (talk) 15:58, 21 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

    • That would be accurate!

Mark A. Kukucka, MS, DVM, PhD (talk) 02:08, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Done and done. As a side note, is there a particular reason you're editing as an IP but signing as this user? ÷seresin 04:36, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • When I do the 4 tildes (~), sometimes it signs my name and sometimes it signs my IP... so I replace the IP with my signature!

Thank you for uploading File:Franklinville md.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. ww2censor (talk) 15:58, 23 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Dvmphd. You have new messages at Rrburke's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

The article Hara P. Misra has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Userfied Mark A. Kukucka

[edit]

Howdy!

I've reverted the link you made to your userspace draft of "Mark A. Kukucka" at Hara P. Misra article, your options there are to either ask for the Kukucka article to be restored to article space, or to cease attempting to link to it.

If you'd like to revisit the deletion discussion, I'm happy to help you figure out how to go about that. It might be as simple as moving the Kukucka article to article space and revisiting the previous deletion discussion, if you have addressed the concerns which led to deletion there.

If you'd like to leave the article in place, then it should probably be marked userspace draft, using {{userspace draft}}

In either case, the core issue is that we strive to seek a clean separation between articles subject to (and hopefully held to) our standards for inclusion within the article space, and that separation is hindered when user-space content, which is subject to different standards, is easily mistaken for article-space content. Thank you for your understanding. --joe deckertalk to me 18:15, 24 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. Thanks for your contributions to BA-79 Nike Missile Site. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Waqar💬 20:37, 16 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
