The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Rejoice Iwueze[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Draft:Rejoice Iwueze a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Rejoice Iwueze. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. May 2021[edit]

Warning icon Please stop editing in a disruptive fashion. Please do not remove maintenance notices from articles. I cannot see what your intentions are / were in blanking the draft referred to above, adding a history merge notice (which is misplaced) and then moving the page to a completely different title which was then redirected to the original draft. This rather muddled situation will probably need Admin attention to sort out; I.e. extra work has been created for other volunteers. Also, please do not edit whilst logged out. Thank you. Hello Editormart. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Martins Osodi, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Editormart. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Editormart|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 18:39, 18 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

- I do not have any affiliation with the figure I have written about and I have not been compensated, directly or indirectly

Martins Osodi moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Martins Osodi, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ... discospinster talk 17:48, 6 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Spiderone, Kinda reconsider whether the article is really to be considered for deletion.

It’s my optimum interest to contribute to the Wikipedia family. Editormart (talk) 21:50, 6 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

In Addition To “Fixing Typos and Errors”.........[edit]

Could you be so kind as not to include creating WP:COI or UPE articles? Thanks for complying in advance, I’d hate to warn you again. Celestina007 (talk) 19:49, 6 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, but this article isn't a WP:COI or UPE articles

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Editormart. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Martins Osodi, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 19:57, 6 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
