@Beauty School Dropout: thank you for your message. I am not sure that I understand what the problem is and I was hoping that perhaps you could explain it? Cheers Erect Eddy (talk) 02:52, 29 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Erect[edit]

Hi! "Completed", "built", etc. are all valid descriptors. Please do not go around changing everything to "erected". On the surface it seems constructive, but en masse (combined with your username) it appears to be an elaborate joke, which is not okay. Please find more constructive ways to edit. MusikAnimal talk 02:43, 30 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @MusikAnimal: thank you for your message. I believe that “erected” is also a valid descriptor and I would hope that my style preference for this term is not considered disruptive. My username is in reference to me being erect in habitus and nothing else. Cheers Erect Eddy (talk) 02:49, 30 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
This edit for instance is not an improvement. You are unnecessarily lengthening the sentence solely so that you can use the word "erection". Your activity strongly resembles trolling, and your username by itself is borderline acceptable. Surely you can find more meaningful ways to improve the encyclopedia. MusikAnimal talk 02:56, 30 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I completely agree with MusikAnimal. Your insistence on using variants of the word "erection" is disruptive and inappropriate. Not only is the wording inappropriate, you are changing the meaning of sentences. Your edit at Bridge of the Lions changes the meaning from a bridge that was built, with the construction ending in 1975, to meaning a bridge built entirely within the year 1975. These do not mean the same thing. Please stop. The Mirror Cracked (talk) 02:59, 30 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@MusikAnimal: @The Mirror Cracked: I understand now. Thank you for your insight. I will direct my attention to other worthwhile endeavours to improve articles. Cheers Erect Eddy (talk) 03:58, 30 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
