Poodle
[edit]Hi Final4one, I have made some slight changes to the general format and reference format for the edit you made to the Poodle article. These were just pretty minor but please check it is still as you wanted it.

Remember to always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes (~~~~)
at the end of your post.
You shouldn't include this on articles though - I've removed your signature from the Poodle article. Don't worry, sometimes the formatting on Wikipedia can be quite daunting but you will soon get the hang of it!
If you need any help at all, you can contact me on my talk page or why not pop over to the Teahouse where there are always very patient, helpful and experienced editors available to give you a hand. SagaciousPhil - Chat 07:26, 6 February 2013 (UTC)

Congrats... You asked an awesome question in the Teahouse!
[edit]hi! Thanks for your great question about adding images to articles about Pennsylvania. As a native PA resident myself, I am extra excited about your efforts to improve our coverage in this area, but I'm also just psyched to see you interested in becoming a great editor. Come back any time with more great questions!

Good luck!
[edit]Hi, thanks for your email! The pic of Sam was on the bottom, so Apple worked correctly. I hope everything works out with the article you've submitted - I seem to have been playing with my attempts at new articles for months and they are still sitting in my user pages waiting for me to do more work on them. They are at the top of my talk page if you want to have a look? I'm not really brave enough to have them rejected, so I try to learn by practising editing and/or expanding existing articles. Let me know if I can help with anything - or as you know, the Teahouse guys are really good, very experienced (much more than me!) and very patient at explaining things. Robert Lombardo. Review of changes and feedback please. Thank you.
- The draft Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Robert Lombardo currently isn't submitted for review; you can re-submit it by following the instructions in the lower "submission declined" message box or by adding
{{subst:submit}}
to the very top. - I have tidied up the references a little, but I don't think they suffice. Several of them don't mention Lombardo at all, and several others seemed to mention him in passing only. The 2012 Chicago Tribune article could do with a link; the title is so generic that I couldn't find it - I found this piece by von Rhein from the same date, but it doesn't mention Lombardo. To be considered notable, he must have been the subject of significant coverage in independent, reliable sources. Huon (talk) 22:27, 4 March 2013 (UTC)

Chronology of talk pages
[edit]Hi Final4one and thanks for stopping by my talkpage. What a great question, but unfortunately, I don't know the why the newest entry appears at the bottom of the talkpage. At the Teahouse, we've tried to do reverse order... newest entry at the top. I think that may confuse people who see it done both ways. I'm really glad you're interested in contributing to wikipedia. There's so much to do!! Enjoy yourself, and stop by my page anytime. Cheers, --Rosiestep (talk) 04:11, 5 March 2013 (UTC)
And Cheers to you as well! Thanks for the encouragement. Let's keep trying to get newest entries first.Final4one (talk) 04:16, 5 March 2013 (UTC)
- I think there are several reasons for the order of entries on talk pages. First of all, the "new section" tab on talk pages adds a new section at the end, not at the beginning - probably because otherwise hatnotes would be superseded by the new section. Secondly, reading from top to bottom is the usual style, and chronological lists are usually sorted oldest-first - take the list of Swedish monarchs for an entirely random example. Thirdly, entries within each section are sorted so the newest entries are at the bottom; I'd say it's logical to sort sections as a whole the same way. Huon (talk) 20:01, 8 March 2013 (UTC)

I've rewritten some of the sections of that article. I think it passes, but I'm going to wait for the opinion of an admin.--Launchballer 16:26, 6 April 2013 (UTC)
Talkback
[edit]Hello. You have a new message at Sagaciousphil's talk page.
Just to let you know, I've put it in articlespace because I'm not waiting three weeks for it. If it doesn't meet the criteria, it can simply be put back.--Launchballer 13:26, 9 April 2013 (UTC)
- Depends on the bolshiness of the editor and because I have no right to move it as an WP:INVOLVED editor.--Launchballer 13:46, 9 April 2013 (UTC)
- It's probably a glitch, I had a similar issue with some of my other articles. The Wikipedia search engine has to index each article that's created, which involves periodic 'sweeping' of the articles. Because there's 6,910,663 articles, that can take a while.--Launchballer 15:10, 9 April 2013 (UTC)
A cupcake for you!
