Adding images

Two more things.

1) Wikipedia has a policy of providing text captions for images, to indicate to readers what the images show and how they are relevant to the articles they are in. Your captionless images leave readers wondering about these questions.

2) Please do not put fan art at the top or in the infobox of any article unless there is a clear consensus that the specific work in question is actually acceptable on Wikipedia. Normally fan art is unacceptable in these positions.

Mirrors

Thanks for contributing to the article Joseph Ahaneku. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable and attributed to reliable sources. You have recently used citations which copied, or mirrored, material from Wikipedia. This leads to a circular reference and is not acceptable. Most mirrors are clearly labeled as such, but some are in violation of our license and do not provide the correct attribution. Please help by adding alternate sources to the article you edited! Fan art in lead or infoboxes on WikiProject Middle-earth

Please note that we don't use fan art in lead or infoboxes on WikiProject Middle-earth. No need to worry, I've removed all the specimens you inserted, but for future reference, it's something that isn't acceptable on any Middle-earth article. I understand there's the excitement of a project to decorate articles with images, but this project is well-illustrated already, and a wealth of available images has already been used. You added a portrait of John von Neummann to Imperative programming, captioned "Imperative programming". Von Neummann is not mentioned anywhere in the article text.

If you're using a bot or search query to find images to add to articles, please double check that they are relevant to the text before adding them.
