Hi, I see you have added a few UK chart listings to the Blink-182 discography. Due to these being high - or too high to be published in the charts - they are not in the cited sources. You will either need to provide a reliable source in the article or tell me where you have found this information so I can add it, otherwise they will be removed. Thanks. k-i-a-c (hitmeup - the past) 05:13, 18 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Kudos to you for helping out, big thanks! If you need any help with anything in the future, just drop me a message and I'll see what I can do. k-i-a-c (hitmeup - the past) 09:09, 19 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Good Views Bad News Album Cover.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. FASTILY (TALK) 23:07, 24 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Picture Perfect (album), an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Picture Perfect (album). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. -- PhantomSteve (Contact Me, My Contribs) 07:36, 4 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Grim. I reverted the edit as, if you're going to do something like that, you should use the sandbox and then just put the whole thing in as, if somebody just came across the article while you were updating it, it wouldn't reflect the player's career. Just a tip. Stay frosty. (Quentin X (talk) 22:16, 30 October 2009 (UTC))[reply]

hey, you keep adding a 2010 single sourced by myspace. myspace is an unreliable source and its use will be removed every single time so please stop adding it. thanks Mister sparky (talk) 21:30, 12 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Record charts

[edit]

Hi! I've noticed you doing some chart adding to discographies and thought I might give you a heads up on a couple of things. As much as Rock Songs may seem, by title, to be the main rock chart in the States, it is not really all that incredibly extensive. See a recent discussion here: Wikipedia talk:Record charts#Billboard Rock Songs. You also may want to read MOS:DISCOG, where it basically indicates that there should be a (variable) limit put to charts in discographies, you have added a fourth US chart to tables with well over the limit of charts already. Anyway, hope those links help you better understand things in relation to Rock Songs being added. kiac. (talk-contrib) 07:38, 16 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Chart positions

[edit]

Regarding your recent additions to Alkaline Trio discography and The Bronx discography, neither of the chart positions you added are supported by the sources referenced in the articles ([1] and [2], specifically). Since neither chart position you added was listed in the sources, I've had to revert you. If you can provide a reliable source to verify these chart positions, then they can be re-added. Otherwise, please don't add unsourced material such as this. --IllaZilla (talk) 20:00, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Alkaline Trio singles

[edit]

With regard to your recent changes to the Alkaline Trio single articles; you'll have to provide reliable sources to verify these various versions. Vinyl trading forums won't pass muster as reliable sources. If the record labels who published these singles have listings of them, then we can link those as sources. Feel free to present any such sources on the respective articles' talk pages and I'll help to format them for referencing purposes. --IllaZilla (talk) 21:22, 1 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I fail to see how Vinyl trading forums which have pictures of the records, are not reliable. I might also point out the track listing of the CD singles are not referenced at all
Again, see Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources. If you have the records themselves, then you can actually cite them as a primary source using {{Cite album-notes }} (which in retrospect I should do for the CD singles; I have those and will add the necessary cites when I get home). Otherwise you can try to find the listing for the release at the record label's website; that would be another primary source. An acceptable secondary source would be something like Allmusic which catalogs releases and lists details. The primary criteria is that sources be, according to Wikipedia:Verifiability: "reliable, third-party, published sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy". Photos found on vinyl trading forums and blogs do not serve as references for article content. In this situation, where it is merely factual details that are needed (track listing, lengths, etc.), it's better to simply cite the records themselves, if you have access to them and no better primary or secondary source can be found. --IllaZilla (talk) 22:54, 1 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Picture Perfect (Soil album). We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Picture Perfect (Soil album) (2nd nomination). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:10, 30 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Czech Republic national football team, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. The article 2012–13 Eastleigh F.C. season has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:GNG and WP:FOOTY consensus that clubs must compete in a national league (so for English football, from Premier League down to Conference National) for season articles to be considered notable.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
