Interested editors can comment on the RfC itself on its talk page.

  • The WMF has begun a pilot report of the pages most visited through various social media platforms to help with anti-vandalism and anti-disinformation efforts. The report is updated daily and will be available through the end of May.

Evan Thomas

Thank you for your reply and I fully understand the need to verify and confirm information which is published on Wikipedia. The details of the house at Beaumaris formerly owned by Evan Thomas (who was known locally as E.O.Evan Thomas) can be verified from this write-up which appeared in the Daily Post a newspaper and news website published by Trinity Mirror in the UK :- https://www.dailypost.co.uk/news/north-wales-news/gallery/property-insider-anglesey-house-spectacular-10374047. The writer of the piece had probably never heard of Evan Thomas and the house would have gone through a number of owners since Evan Thomas moved away, but he is still affectionately remembered by local people.

Confirmation of Evan Thomas living in Beaumaris is provided by the following extract from The Liverpool Echo (the local evening newspaper published in Liverpool, UK) dated May 12 1960.

The article goes on to relate how Evan Thomas was elected as a Beaumaris Borough Councillor and includes a photograph of him shaking hands with Her Majesty the Queen when she and the Duke of Edinburgh visited Beaumaris.

Hello, 

The page I had created Radhakrishnan Pillai was deleted for the second time. Could you please consider it again. The page is about best selling author from India. The information put up was quite relevant and were from verified sources as you can see the citations attached to it.

Factfanatic1 Hello! As I stated on the pages themselves, a lot of works needs to be done before they qualify for GA status. They are lacking sources and are not broad in coverage. I see you only recently signed up to join Wikipedia and I want to say welcome, we are glad to have you. However, getting articles to GA status takes a lot of work and I suggest just editing articles to get a feel for our criteria before nominating any more. HickoryOughtShirt?4 Yes, but can you explain in detail what you mean? I won't nominate the pages for being good articles at least for a while but I'm not sure what you mean to compare China Anne McClain to Beyoncé. McClain is relatively known and is over a decade younger whereas Beyonce has done much more work and is a superstar. McClain is also more an actress than she is a singer whereas Beyonce is really only a singer with some acting work here and there. I'm not sure how you expect the two pages to be similar. And when you say lacking sources, where exactly? And when you say not broad in coverage, how exactly? I rewrote both China Anne McClain and McClain (band) entirely. No one else besides myself has really been working on either pages recently, particularly the band's page, and I just wanted help. Factfanatic1 What I meant was, look at how detailed and well-sourced Beyoncé's article is while McClain has many sentences without any reference (and some are dead) and very little detail. I mostly write sports articles which probably wouldn't have been a good comparison for you but if you wish for a lesser-known individual Quinn Hughes was my first GA. For example, the sentence "McClain appeared on ABC's Sing Your Face Off television show, winning the show's first season" is unsourced and can go into much more detail. When did she sign onto the show, was her singing praised, were the ratings good? It could probably be its own paragraph with how much information you can describe about her and the show. Factfanatic1, hey don't be afraid to ask questions. I know article writing is tough so if you have any questions feel free to ask me or the Wikipedia new editor help desk.
To begin for the McClain (band), the subheading is titled "2005–2011: 3mcclaingirls and Daddy's Little Girls" but it only goes up to 2008. What happened in the years before Hollywood Records? As well, the sentence "On September 11, 2012, their single "The Great Divide" was released which was featured in the Disney film Secret of the Wings and on the film's soundtrack Disney Fairies: Faith, Trust, and Pixie Dust" can go into much more detail. How was it received by the public? I suggest trying to write two-three sentence for each "fact."
I found the main photo of Hughes by asking someone on Twitter to release their rights to it (which they thankfully agreed) and the second photo was taken by one of our own editors. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 08:02, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
HickoryOughtShirt?4 Besides requesting for the release of rights, are there any other resources or websites you recommend? It's so difficult for me to find pictures for the performers I work on Wikipedia. About McClain (band), the thing with the band is that so much about them is rather obscure or unknown. They're really only so known because China Anne McClain was in the band. In regards to what was happening between 2008 until they signed with Hollywood Records in 2011, all three sisters were acting. But in terms of being a group, they didn't seem to do anything. I've kept up with the group since 2011 and I can't find anything online because there isn't anything. They seemed to be on hiatus and they are now on hiatus again. I'm not very sure how to put that into the article? I touched on it but it also wouldn't be appropriate to go into the projects they did separately as it's about the band.
In regards to "The Great Divide" it seems to have been received well by the public according to Amazon, iTunes, and Google Play/Music, but no professional music critics ever reviewed that single so it's difficult to talk about how it was received when no critics. That's why the group's article might come off as being very general without going into specifics because in all honesty they never really were all that notable. HickoryOughtShirt?4 I wouldn't delete the page and no one has ever argued about deleting their page. The issue is that they had their peak as a group from 2011 until 2013, which is when they released their most well known songs, were part of Hollywood Records, and appeared on the Disney Channel as a group and China Anne had her own show on the channel. So I think the problem is that they're kind of stuck in time in terms of their notability as a group whereas China has kept working on her own. It's difficult to explain but I definitely don't think their page as a group should be deleted. I think that certain parts of their article just might have to stay without further information because there's literally nothing that can be done about it.Factfanatic1 (talk) 08:31, 14 April 2020 (UTC)

deleted informational Company article "Zizoo"

Dear HickoryOughtShirt?4,

one of our costumers just send us a notification that there is no information about Zizoo findable anymore on Wikipedia - our Article is deleted. Since not just customers but also potential investors see the information about companies on Wikipedia as a trust, I was wondering why our article got deleted by you.

We re the world leading boat rental platform with more then 30000 boats in more then 500 locatons. To me it seems not fair that our smaler competitors like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Click_and_Boat are allowed to have an informational company article.

I would politely ask you to put our company article online again.

Hi Daniel and welcome to Wikipedia. This is an encyclopedia, not a personal website where investors can see the information about companies. The difference between Zizoo and Click and Boat is that the former was written in a non neutral tone. I'm also very sure it was your undisclosed paid editors like Akshayfighter who informed you of this, and not a customer. How Do I Update My Page?

I'm having an extremely hard time following the procedures for updating my page. It was created shortly before the release of my book, Pizza City USA, but it clearly needs updating. How do I do so? I'd like to add work history, early life, picture, etc.

Hi Stevedolinsky and welcome to Wikipedia. Alright, I'm going to be straight forward here for a bit. Firstly, I suggest thinking of Wikipedia in different terms. It isn't "your page" it's "an article about you." I'm being pedantic about this because how one views Wikipedia is important when interacting with it. Unless one's privacy is being attacked, you being the subject of an article is not relative to the influence you have over it. Now that that is established, we can move onto updating. You are recommended to use WP:Edit requests on Talk:Steve Dolinsky which will be reviewed by an experienced editor. When making these requests, make sure it is neutrally worded (WP:NPOV) and well-sourced to reliable reference (WP:RS). If it is fails either of these criteria, it will not be accepted. The reason for this is because Wikipedia is trusted to be a neutral encyclopedia and having a person with a conflict of interest dictate how it is written will lessen the public's validation and view of us. There is available Wikipedia history in your userpage which specifically says that I helped you in bringing Saqib Iqbal Shami to mainspace — and you copied data from my userpage and started bullying and attacking me at KylieTastic's userpage and WP:Username Policy. You should stop all this hocuspocus and focus on the betterment of mainspace articles where you are interested. You are free to work on articles related to anything. Hey Hickory. I recently added information to Aidan Gallagher's wikipedia page. This information is true. I was friends with Aidan and talked to him on a daily basis. He came to Toronto and rented the house beside mine. He followed me on Instagram we Dm'ed everyday. I would love to update his page but you keep removing my edits. Why? Many edits I added can be proved by looking up straight facts.

(talk page stalker) Magicalreview, the main problem here is copyright - we cannot accept text copied from elsewhere on the internet unless it has a suitable license, as otherwise that is a copyright violation (which is not only wrong, it's actually against the law and can result in Wikipedia being sued). If you want to reuse that text on Wikipedia, then you will be required to license the original text in such a way that anybody can do anything with that text - modify it, publish it elsewhere, remove it - and all they have to do is cite where they originally got the text from and share it under a similar license. If that's what you want, then follow HickoryOughtShirt?4's directions above and go to the page on donating copyrighted materials - the directions there will tell you the process for proving that you wrote the original text and releasing it under the appropriate license.
Regarding the conflict of interest - you absolutely have a conflict of interest - if someone is your Guru, then you have a relationship with that person which affects your ability to edit neutrally about them. You are expected to disclose that, per our policies. The license Wikipedia uses does not allow for you to place limits on how your work may be used. I can assure you that the source was reliable and was properly cited.

There are no sources for Nixor has also been subject to criticism on their high tuition fees which go up to Rs. 50,000. People assume that Nixor is using their established name to charge parents hefty fees or It also provides accelerated A'level courses in which a course of a two-year syllabus is completed in one, with a good faculty that helps students achieve such a hard goal in a year.
