Hello, HickoryOughtShirt?4,

Just a note to say that we don't require User pages or Drafts to be in English-only (see WP:NMFD). I work mainly with Drafts and some Sandboxes these days and we have plenty of drafts in Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, Italian, Croatian, you name it. We just ask that pages be translated before they are submitted for review or moved to main space (see Draft:Umowa PPA for an example of how an AFC reviewer handles this). And we do ask that editors communicate in English on Talk pages (WP:ENGLISHPLEASE). But in their own space or in Draft space, editors often first write in their native language first or work on articles from another language Wikipedia before they are translated into English. Thanks! Liz Read! Talk! 04:37, 2 October 2022 (UTC)

I even stumbled into Wikipedia:Pages needing translation into English that contains articles that are seeking translation help. Liz Read! Talk! 04:40, 2 October 2022 (UTC)
Hi Liz and thanks for the note. You are right, I should have just declined it as a draft. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 04:46, 2 October 2022 (UTC)

Hello old friend!

Hello Hickory, Thanks for updating Al Morganti. I'm still working on biographies for Canadian ice hockey administrators, and want to expand a few journalists also. I hope you're doing well! Flibirigit (talk) 23:34, 2 October 2022 (UTC)

Hi Flibirigit and thanks for the note . Unfortunately, there is very little coverage of Morganti so his article is destined to be a stub ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I am currently going through Canadian para-hockey athletes so maybe I'll see you around DYK. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 23:36, 2 October 2022 (UTC)

Your GA nomination of Nick Abruzzese

The article Nick Abruzzese you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Nick Abruzzese for comments about the article. Well done! If the article has not already appeared on the main page as a "Did you know" item, or as a bold link under "In the News" or in the "On This Day" prose section, you can nominate it within the next seven days to appear in DYK. Bolded names with dates listed at the bottom of the "On This Day" column do not affect DYK eligibility. Your GA nomination of Martin Fehérváry

The article Martin Fehérváry you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Martin Fehérváry for comments about the article. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Mike Christie -- Mike Christie (talk) 11:21, 9 October 2022 (UTC)

Mike Christie, thank you again for your patience. I did not see your recent comment about the phrasing until now but I will fix that shortly. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 14:00, 9 October 2022 (UTC)

DYK for Adam Kingsmill

On 20 October 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Adam Kingsmill, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Adam Kingsmill, who is missing most of his right leg, played stand-up ice hockey until 2016? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Adam Kingsmill. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Adam Kingsmill), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Erukhimova

Hi!

Thanks for creating Tatiana Erukhimova! I've just discovered her on TikTok, felt that there's more to her than funny videos, and indeed there was. I appreciate your contribution! ❤️ --Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 05:43, 21 October 2022 (UTC)

Amire80, thanks so much . I didn't even realize she was on TikTok so now I have a whole slew of videos to watch! HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 20:47, 21 October 2022 (UTC)
