Vandalism about Malaysia Airlines Flight 17[edit]

User Reedy is removing your edits. He also removed an edit, did at 16:44, 17 July 2014 by 128.68.133.170‎. Looks like he is a Russian vandal I tried to bring them back, but Reedy has locked the page. Now I have to wait to edit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by IHasBecauseOfLocks (talkcontribs) 17:22, 17 July 2014 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for File:UT s3tc.jpg[edit]

Copyright-problem.svg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:UT s3tc.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 12:13, 23 November 2009 (UTC)

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Information.svg Hello Ilya! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 2,926 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Emma Shapplin - Find sources: "Emma Shapplin" – news · newspapers · books · scholar · HighBeam · JSTOR · free images · free news sources · The Wikipedia Library · NYT · WP reference

Orphaned non-free media (File:Kvitka 1.jpg)[edit]

Ambox warning blue.svg Thanks for uploading File:Kvitka 1.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:24, 2 May 2013 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Reactive Streams[edit]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Reactive Streams, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.reactive-streams.org/.

It is possible that the bot was mistaken and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) Every single source in this dif was dead. Where are you getting this content from? Jytdog (talk) 20:29, 3 April 2016 (UTC)

I figured it out. You are copying from Ukrainian WP. Please don't do that at all, and if you do, you absolutely must attribute per Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia Jytdog (talk) 20:32, 3 April 2016 (UTC)
That sources where live when I edited Ukrainian version. I am the author of it. --Ilya (talk) 20:33, 3 April 2016 (UTC)
