Jack Jezzro (born Jacob Paul Jezioro, December 2, 1957) is an American guitarist, bassist, and record producer, appearing on numerous gold and platinum selling albums[1]. He is originally from the small town of Rivesville, WV (pop. 1,000,) and graduated from the prestigious Eastman School of Music in 1981. As an internationally recognized guitarist and composer, Jack Jezzro is a multifaceted and successful studio musician, and has gained notoriety as being the record producer for legendary[2] jazz pianist Beegie Adair. The Frank Sinatra Collection, Ms. Adair's 1997 award winning collection[3], continues to be a top selling jazz album. Jack Jezzro has also produced albums in many genres, including the RIAA certified gold album Smoky Mountain Hymns on the Brentwood Music label. The success of this album led to a series of several Smoky Mountain Music recordings, selling well into the millions. Jack Jezzro's credits include producing over 300 albums for a variety of record labels. These albums, along with many videos, can easily be found by searching the worldwide web. His recent productions also include acclaimed Dove Award winning vocalist Kathy Troccoli and Grammy winning pianist/composer and producer Michael Omartian. Several of his productions have been nominated for Dove Awards, including the recent 2013 Inspirational Album of the Year nominee Hear My Prayer, by Christopher Phillips and Jaimee Paul[4]. His recording of Mio dolce sogno an Italian Waltz written by Giovanni Vicari, could also be heard in the 2012 Woody Allen movie, "To Rome With Love." As a bassist, he was a member of the Nashville Symphony Orchestra from 1981-1991. He continues to be a member of the Nashville String Machine, playing on countless top selling songs and albums, such as Carrie Underwood's Carnival Ride and Play On, Garth Brooks' Fresh Horses and Scarecrow, Matchbox 20's Mad Season, Shania Twain's The Woman In Me, and The Beach Boys' Made In California. His vast guitar discography as a recording artist includes the critically acclaimed[5] Jazz Elegance, Brazilian Night's, and Solitude recordings, along with the Grammy nominated[6] A Day's Journey album. He also produced, and is the featured artist on the popular Disney album entitled Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings (originally titled Disney's Instrumental Impressions.) He has recorded many albums for the Green Hill label and has authored books for Mel Bay Publications.[7] Jack Jezzro resides in Nashville, TN.
