My RFA
Hello, Johann. I was recently nominated for admin. I accepted the nomination and have an active RFA. I know our coaching was inturrupted, but your encouragement and recommended reading have helped me tremedously. I would be honored if you would comment on my RFA. Thanks, JERRYtalkcontribs00:16, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
I created an article called "Panther Lick". It is a place in west virginia, but in looking for the map reference, I noticed it is also the name of several other places. How do I change the title of it to "Panther Lick, Marion County, West Virginia"? thanks. Burnsfessler (talk) 22:53, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
Hello, I recently signed up at the Requests for Coaching page and noticed that you were a volunteer. I was wondering if you would like to coach me in the ways of wikipedia. If you decide not to (for instance if you take someone at the top of the request list) just please let me know, I won't be insulted. I just need to know to look for someone else, thats all, Thank-you for your consideration(or at least reading all of this)--Pewwer42 Talk 01:40, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
Thank you very much for your accepting my request to teach me. I just read the Administrators How-To Guide and would be glad to start when you are. Just to keep you fully informed, I am in college so I have classes, and I have a job that can change from week to week. Do you have to change the [Requests for Coaching] page or do I? Thank you again--Pewwer42 Talk 04:06, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
Hello, previously you expressed interest in participating in the Wikipedia:Admin coaching project. We are currently conducting a reconfirmation drive to give coaches the opportunity to update their information and capacity to participate in the project. Please visit Wikipedia:Admin coaching/Status to update your status. Also, please remember to update your capacity (5th table variable) in the form of a fraction (eg. 2/3 means you are currently coaching 2 students, and could accept 1 more student). Thank you. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Manitoba-100-1870-1970-obverse.JPG
Thank you for uploading Image:Manitoba-100-1870-1970-obverse.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.
