BOMARC Revision on CFB North Bay Article[edit]
Hello. Thank you for the edit, but I had to undo it, due to accuracy. The BOMARC missile was part of our air force base in the 1960s and early 1970s. Ergo my office, the air base's archives, holds many documents from the SAM squadron that operated the missiles. The nomenclature used in the documents is BOMARC. To ensure accuracy, I telephoned the Museum of the United States Air Force, the chief archival center for BOMARCs and their documentation. They confirmed that, because it is an acronym, BOMARC is correct. Just as NORAD is correct, versus Norad. (I work in NORAD.) Cheers. 22WHERO (talk) 15:56, 22 March 2016 (UTC)
