Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article, or a draft for a Wikipedia article, about yourself, at Draft:Lambani Lakyanaik. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Notable people who have edited Wikipedia). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Hello Lambanilakyanaik. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Lambanilakyanaik. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Lambanilakyanaik|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. signed, Rosguill talk 18:08, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop[edit]

Lambanilakyanaik, you need to stop creating articles that are not viable for Wikipedia. You can see from above on this page that all your articles are getting deleted; that can't be fun for you, and it's also no fun for the editors who have to deal with them. Articles, especially biographies of living people, need to have reliable sources (please look up that guideline and read it). They must not be sourced to YouTube or Instagram or the like. Also, the people we create articles about need to be notable by Wikipedia's definition. Please read Wikipedia:Notability (people) to see what that means. Read Help:Your first article for more information. I'm afraid your creation of non-viable articles is getting disruptive; if you keep doing it, you will end up blocked. Thank you. You know, creating articles from scratch is the most difficult thing you can do on Wikipedia, so it's not the most promising thing for a new user to start with. I suggest your best path forward might be to stop creating articles for now, and instead try to improve existing articles. That way you will gradually learn the principles here, and gain the competence you need for creating articles. Good luck. Bishonen | tålk 16:56, 21 February 2024 (UTC).[reply]

The article Adavimallanakeri Thanda has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unreferenced stub with an existing draft.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Adavimallanakeri Thanda moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Adavimallanakeri Thanda, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Boleyn (talk) 22:11, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I have redirected your drafts, Draft:Adavimallanakeri Thanda and Draft:draft:Adavimallanakeri Thanda to Adavimallanakeri Thanda as they appear to be a plausible redirect. I had also redirected Adavimallanakeri Thanda to it's main article Adavimallanakeri, since the article you created seems non notable or not ready for a stand alone page. Speedy deletion nomination of Dr Bro[edit]

Hello Lambanilakyanaik,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Dr Bro for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Introduction to contentious topics[edit]

You have recently edited a page related to India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

  • adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
  • comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
  • follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
  • comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
  • refrain from gaming the system.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

While this is a standard notice that implies no fault, the warnings above it suggest that you need to review Wikipedia's policies and guidelines regarding verifiability and notability. You also need to respond to concerns regarding COI/UPE above before making any further edits. signed, Rosguill talk 18:13, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

In view of your persistent creation on non-viable articles after warnings, and many other problems shown by the edit filter, such as your repeated attempts to remove the speedy template from an article you created yourself (clearly marked "do not remove this notice from pages that you have created yourself"), and your roundabout effort to create an article about Pradeep Bogadi despite the AfD decision at Pradeep (actor), I have blocked you indefinitely. Your somewhat desperate attempts to keep non-viable biography articles on Wikipedia suggests you are an undisclosed paid editor, but whether or not, you are too disruptive to edit here. If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.
