- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or sock puppetry.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.

Since launching his career in the late 90s, Eric Ng has become a chart-topping staple within the Asian pop scene, establishing himself as a highly acclaimed songwriter, producer and music arranger. Recognized as the Launchpad for multiple hits for artists such as A Mei, Sandy Lam, Tanya Chua, Jaycee Chan and Ming Bridges, his success is only over-shadowed by an unprecedented level of creative energy that has fueled him daily for nearly two decades straight.
His unique talent has been stamped across both the commercial and indie spirit of music making, forging catchy jingles for Samsung, Super and hundreds of other high profile brands, and performing regularly as a session guitarist for artists such as Sandy Lam and Emil Chau. He has appeared on shows all across the globe, yet throughout his entire career, Eric’s other passion has always been reaching out to and building up the next generation of performing artists.
Eric started his career as a music arranger, session/touring guitarist and music producer. With a general passion for breathing life into big ideas, Eric founded Funkie Monkies Productions in 2000, a production house dedicated to bringing a new generation of songwriters into the music industry. As the publishing house’s success grew, Eric expanded Funkie Monkies to include a music publishing program, and a pop music school starting in 2007 to include a production house, artist management and a pop music school.
Today, Funkie Monkies exclusive songwriters have had their works published by A-list Mandarin artists such as A*Mei, Stefanie Sun, Jolin, Show Luo and the label has successfully launched the careers of Wu Jiahui, Serene Koong, Ming Bridges and Kenny Khoo.
Starting in the mid-2000s, Eric began to make a name for himself as a highly-acclaimed musical director and served as the composer and music director for 881, Singapore and The Voice of China. His song “Turn you around” earned him the honor of being the highest selling soundtrack in Singapore’s history, and was also the first record released under his Funkie Monkies label. The first record released under the FM Label, the original soundtrack to 881, earned Funkie Monkies the honor of bring the highest selling soundtrack in Singapore's history.
Today, Eric frequently appears on singing and songwriting competition shows as a judge, consults with high profile brands such as Guinness on enhancing brands through music, and teaches songwriting at the FM Pop Music School. No matter the project, Eric can never seem to really settle down, even 20 years after his work began gaining serious altitude. Paul Bisson, general manager of Guinness Singapore says of Eric: “He has bags of creativity, energy and talent. He’s a pioneer and he delivers all this with great integrity, humor and professionalism.”

Do not add material like "his success is only over-shadowed by an unprecedented level of creative energy that has fueled him daily for nearly two decades straight" to Eric Ng. It is not neutral per the Wikipedia policy (WP:NPOV). Please ensure you read and understand our policies. Thanks. QuiteUnusual (talk) 09:14, 19 May 2015 (UTC)
