The article TheProper21 has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, individual animal, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki (talk) 02:49, 11 March 2010 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of The Palm Beach Proper[edit]

Ambox warning pn.svg

A tag has been placed on The Palm Beach Proper requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. I42 (talk) 19:20, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

File copyright problem with File:Thepalmbeachproper1.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Thepalmbeachproper1.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 15:31, 10 January 2011 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Thepalmbeachproper1.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Thepalmbeachproper1.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Courcelles 03:27, 15 January 2011 (UTC)

File permission problem with File:Replicas of the Medici lions at the Bridge of Lions .jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Replicas of the Medici lions at the Bridge of Lions .jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. 06:46, 28 August 2011 (UTC)

How to upload copyrighted images[edit]

Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials#Granting us permission to copy material already online in Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. It says:

For images, you can send an email, ideally using the language from the template at WP:CONSENT:
(1) From an address associated with the original publication to permissions-commons@wikimedia.org;
(2) Then upload the file to Wikimedia Commons and place {{OTRS pending}} on the image page.
Someone will reply to your email, indicating whether the content and your license is acceptable and update the page to indicate that the confirmation of the license has been received.

If you upload the copyrighted file first, and then email the copyright owner, i.e. Michael Kagdis at http://thepalmbeachproper.com/, requesting an OTRS permission, you're doing it backwards.

First ask to have the permission email sent, then, if it is granted, upload the file, with {{OTRS pending}} noting that the request is being processed. Thanks! --Dennis Bratland (talk) 19:29, 4 September 2011 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited The Palm Beach Proper, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Palm Beach (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Ways to improve Born With Style (Magazine)[edit]

Hi, I'm SGGH. MVASCO, thanks for creating Born With Style (Magazine)!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Hi there. I've tagged this new article of yours with a notability tag, as I'm worried that it doesn't evidence why this brand new magazine is significant enough for inclusion. I'm sure it could be, but the article needs to show why.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. S.G.(GH) ping! 11:40, 25 November 2013 (UTC)
