Theodoros Kolokotronis Stadium
[edit]Hi, thanks for checking up on the revert I made on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theodoros_Kolokotronis_Stadium back in August. I've had to undo your subsequent edit however as your assertion that the article references was mirroring Wikipedia, and not the other way around was wrong. In my edit I linked to an archived page of the site in question. It clearly showed that it was crawled on 2nd November 2014 whereas the Wikipedia Edit was made on the 10th November following on from Tottenham Hotspur's high profile Europa League match that week. If the article had been written for wikipedia rather than copied and pasted, it would have to be deleted anyway as it is written in a very informal manner. I know this because I contributed the article to the website, and although I was initially flattered that it was reference worthy on Wikipedia, I was a bit disappointed that it was instead straight up plagiarism. Let me know if you have any other further questions, best regards Groundhopper92 (talk) 22:40, 17 September 2015 (UTC)

Icons
[edit]Hi, please don't add icons at the end of rows outlining performance in competitions per WP:ICONDECORATION, it is obvious from the scoreline and the presence / absence if additional lines below whether the team was successful. Thanks. Fenix down (talk) 14:37, 27 July 2015 (UTC)
- I disagree with your interpretation of the policy. It says "An icon is purely decorative if it does not improve comprehension of the article subject and serves no navigational function.". The icon DOES improve comprehension of whether the team qualified or not, and I have found it very useful as a reader for the teams that had it. Still, I'm not going to insist, but let the community decide. Eventually it's not extremely important, and I reverted myself at Vllaznia to follow your interpretation, but I still think it's useful to see who qualified and who didn't.--PoshteMorriKuq (talk) 14:46, 27 July 2015 (UTC)
Albania NFT vandalism
[edit]Hello my shqipe, hope you're fine. As you can see I'm a regular editor at our Albania national football team since 1 August 2013 ; Ok, now I just noticed that at this article of Albania NFT are done many but many vandalism edits and mostly removals. Let me tell you (next message after some minutes but answer me if you received this message please, thank you....) Eni.Sukthi.Durres (talk) 17:53, 8 August 2015 (UTC)
- Ok do you have any idea who removed or edited these sections, its strange that I didn't noticed cause I take care sicne 2 years this article. If you could help with something tell me, thank you. Eni.Sukthi.Durres (talk) 18:05, 8 August 2015 (UTC)
- It looks like this is the responsible for the vandalisms, and the editor after didn't revert properly. I'll see what I can do. Gotta be vigilent with that article, too many vandalisms. PoshteMorriKuq (talk) 01:27, 9 August 2015 (UTC)
- S*ckers, I knew it. If would not be for a coincidence I would never find this vandalism and I remember now that I'd negligenced since I saw you personally that had made it revert of the previous user Agawam 89 but it should never happenned, I should be very careful because never has gone me nothing. Ok tell me about yourself my shqipe, where are you from, where do you live, what is your job, etc., I want to know you since we are Albanians compatriots and we meet there, thank you. Eni.Sukthi.Durres (talk) 16:43, 9 August 2015 (UTC)
- I should have been careful myself, but you caught it. For further communications you can email me. I just set that up, and we can communicate freely. Best! PoshteMorriKuq (talk) 01:07, 10 August 2015 (UTC)
- Not sure if we can create Florian Kamberi. Can we?PoshteMorriKuq (talk) 01:20, 10 August 2015 (UTC)
- I know that Gani Merja will need an article too. source.PoshteMorriKuq (talk) 01:29, 10 August 2015 (UTC)
- About Gani Merja I'm not such interested because my "passion" its with current compatriots players. But for Florian Kamberi I don't know if it will be worthed then because he could choose another national team intead of our Albania. If you see my articles created, its about young talents which have already became Albania national youth football team players or became later, or even hasn't became yet cause they are not decided yet. For example, players such as Enis Gavazaj, Orestis Menka, Keidi Bare, Endri Çekiçi, Rey Manaj, etc. had been played for our youth national teams, then others such as Isnik Alimi, Herdi Prenga became later our part. Instead others like Sinan Bytyqi, Donis Avdijaj, Valmir Sulejmani, Bersant Celina are still doubt for which national team to represent. That's the idea, if it will be worthed that if Flroian Kamberi would choose Albania to represent. Eni.Sukthi.Durres (talk) 13:35, 10 August 2015 (UTC)
- Well, we need to represent here in wiki what those players are currently. If Kamberi gives an interview to the Albanian news and says that he "would choose" Albania, that'll be reflected in the article, and his potential Swiss coach would read it. Same thing if he does the same with the Swiss news, De Biasi would read it. This is then the role of Wiki. PoshteMorriKuq (talk) 14:28, 10 August 2015 (UTC)
- Ok my brother if you want to do it, then do it I will help you with my mine, thank you. Eni.Sukthi.Durres (talk) 16:45, 10 August 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks. Might take a while since there are no good sources for the old players, even for the NT games. I have a soft spot for old players, who saw Albanian stadiums with 15-30 thousand real spectators loving the players, and not just little boys of 12 who throw things on the pitch, and then watch Premier League in television. Best! PoshteMorriKuq (talk) 17:01, 10 August 2015 (UTC)

DYK nomination of Palokë Nika
[edit]Hello! Your submission of Palokë Nika at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and some issues with it may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! Dravecky (talk) 09:12, 16 August 2015 (UTC)
DYK for Palokë Nika
[edit]On 21 August 2015, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Palokë Nika, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Palokë Nika, who founded the oldest Albanian football club, KF Vllaznia Shkodër, was the first coach of KF Tirana? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Palokë Nika. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, live views, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. |

Etrit Berisha
[edit]Just because there was no source doesn't mean I was automatically wrong. I watched the game live on tv and seen his number is now 99, next time verify it before you tell someone they're wrong. Jimfitz86 (talk) 13:20, 23 August 2015 (UTC)
- Reverted myself, once I checked for the source, but I want to explain to you that when you edit without sourcing, you have the responsibility, to at least put a better explanation to your edits. You just said "New club number", without saying anything else. No one knows if you watched a match: you could have simply said "per last game against bologna he changed numbers" in your edit summary by being a little more specific, and that would have been sufficient for your fellow wikipedians to AGF you. Brulotte v Thys
[edit]Hi Maestro
I didn't understand what you were driving at with the tag. Could you explain, please? Do you have any specific problem? PraeceptorIP (talk) 23:50, 27 August 2015 (UTC)
- @PraeceptorIP: Hello Sir. I was doing page patrolling and marked as "patrolled", but deemed the tag necessary. Once you wrote in my talk page, I read your userpage and assumed in good faith that you really are an expert in the field of law, so I removed the tag. Hope that clarifies. --Maestro Spinelloccio (talk) 14:04, 28 August 2015 (UTC)
- Maestro, just make it a habit from now one when you see an article on a law case, and you think it may be inexpert, look up the user page of the main contributor. Sometimes, such an article is by an inept amateur. (The original version of Kimble v. Marvel is an example.) But that is rare. Typically, law articles are by a law expert. Just use discretion from now on. Cheers. PraeceptorIP (talk) 18:27, 28 August 2015 (UTC)
Improper speedy deletion nominations
[edit]I see you've been doing some new page patrolling and have nominated a number of a new articles for speedy deletion. I think you need to review the criteria for deletion and apply them a little more responsibly. As an example, this nomination is absurd. A quick google search would show that this story was not made up. Thank you. The Dissident Aggressor 16:45, 28 August 2015 (UTC)
- @DissidentAggressor: Dissident, do you have any other examples that show how my nominations are done incorrectly or is this the only one? Because you are just citing this as an example, and making it seem as if I had several mistakes in my edits. Let me know if that is the case, please: I have done a lot of patrolling this morning, and it would help me, as a new editor, to have feedback from an experienced user such as yourself.
- In regards to that edit, I probably should have done A7, not A11. I still think A11 applies because I have a serious issue with the fact that neither of the sources is inline, and that although it's not made up, the subject is written by the author, or someone who knows them pretty well, but then I saw your revert, and your message in my talk page, I agreed and I didn't revert you. Still I am wondering if you agree with A7. The author themselves does not have an article: why should the first novel be notable? If you disagree with A7, I'll bring this article to AFD. --Maestro Spinelloccio (talk) 17:02, 28 August 2015 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker)@Maestro Spinelloccio: Don't worry too much about making mistakes on speedy nominations at first. DissidentAggressor is right, of course - one should know the criteria well, and apply them only in the specific situations where it's warranted. But, you'll get more familiar spotting those with experience - even I screw up from time to time, and I've been at this a while. If it's an edge case or you're not quite sure, I would get another opinion, or err on the side of caution and use PROD or AfD. Cheers. --Drm310 (talk) 17:33, 28 August 2015 (UTC)
- :-), thanks for the advise and kind words @Drm310:, I am really enjoying the new page reviewing process, and I want it as error-free as possible. Yes, I should have used A7 for the above, or AFD. Thanks both of you! MS (talk) 17:46, 28 August 2015 (UTC)

Propose upmerge of category
[edit]Please see my proposal to speedily upmerge Category: European Shooting to Category: European Shooting Championships: Hugo999 (talk) 03:51, 27 December 2016 (UTC)
The article Flamur Tahiraj has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Article about a footballer who fails WP:GNG and who has not played in a fully pro league.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Sir Sputnik (talk) 19:51, 26 April 2017 (UTC)
