Pinball FX

Hey thanks for the correction. I realized that the game I was thinking of was actually Zen Pinball 2. What threw me off is that they are both developed by Zen Studios, and in the process I got the names mixed up. That was pretty embarrassing on my part. But to be honest, I thought I was thinking of the right game, because all those tables are in Zen Pinball 2 as well. Anyways, thanks for catching that. Now I blame it on Zen Studios for having the same game but under two different titles... Mcdudeman (talk) 21:53, 16 January 2015 (UTC)

Nothing to worry about. I actually added a "see also" link at both articles to connect to the other title. --McDoobAU93 21:58, 16 January 2015 (UTC)

Typhoon Lagoon

Yes I realize that set it as closed but I didn't mean to make it seem like it was permanently closed. The park is actually closed for the season and having it as operating wouldn't be true. — Preceding unsigned comment added by NAD328 (talkcontribs) 20:09, 10 February 2015 (UTC)

Again, that's the point. It's not our job to give people status updates of whether the facility is operational that very moment or not. There are many other websites and outlets that do that much better than we ever could. We need to focus on things that the average reader will NOT find elsewhere. --McDoobAU93 20:14, 10 February 2015 (UTC)

Miscalculation for SSB4

Please for forgive me for my misunderstanding for the differences between the differences for SSB4. That edit I made was done before I realized that the 2 games ARE in fact different in some ways. For example

3DS:

  • Custom Miis
  • 3D graphics
  • 4 melee stages
  • 4 Brawl Stages

WiiU

  • Stage Builder
  • New game modes
  • 12 Brawl stages
  • 6 melee stages
  • 1 SSB stage

although to be fair to my edit statement. Both versions of the game do have the SAME amount of characters (excluding Mewtwos upcoming DLC pack). This is not much of a difference just something to think about. Thank you and good day. (Zucat)

Jlfarm03/Disney Vacation Club

Dear McDoobAU93, I have requeted for you to bring back my edit on what I did on Disney Vacation Club. On my Talk Page, You said not to add or edit anything to Disney Vacation Club because I have not been providing citations. On Disney Vacation Club, I added information to cancelled projects. I added information about Disney's Time Square Villas and Disney's Mountain Lodge. I had provided evidence for it that was listed below my edit. Thank You, Jlfarm03

I take it this issue is ongoing, as in there were other IPs making the same claims in the past? If it is isolated to this IP, I would argue there's a chance we're looking at good-faith edits, as the rides they are writing about don't appear to be made up, but rather they do not exist in the parks they are claiming them to. I'm sure you've got this case down to a tee, but surely you can understand why I'm apprehensive about blocking when I don't know the full picture. MusikAnimal talk 17:19, 7 May 2015 (UTC)

As was noted in the AIV page, this has been going on for YEARS. There's a user in Japan who logs in every so often and begins posting that a given Disney attraction is to be removed from one park or added to another. No sources are ever added, and the user has been warned multiple times to not add this information. Their favorite target appears to be Pinocchio's Daring Journey, which has never even been suggested for addition to Magic Kingdom. When Disney makes an announcement, there's TONS of press coverage, so sourcing would be easy to find—if it were true. --McDoobAU93 18:36, 7 May 2015 (UTC)

Xbox One System Software

Hi McDoobAU93, this may be the wrong thing to do, if so sorry. If you are referring to the Miracast addition on the Xbox One System Software, the user must also download the 'Wireless Display' app in order to use it. I'm not sure if this app has gone live yet, as I had access to it via the preview program http://www.theverge.com/2015/4/22/8467611/xbox-one-miracast-support.

Wagnerp16 (talk) 18:22, 12 May 2015 (UTC)

Yes, I'm quite aware of the existence of the app, but as you just pointed out - quite correctly - the app is still in preview mode. Miracast support is NOT included in the public update that was released yesterday; if it was, it would have been listed in the list of updates/improvements that Microsoft publishes (and that we use as the basis for edits in this article) for each update. When Miracast support is indeed added, and it most likely shall be in short order, Microsoft will indicate it's included in that list. Based on its omission, we must assume it's still in preview mode. --McDoobAU93 19:02, 12 May 2015 (UTC)

List of roller coaster rankings

I think perhaps you were looking at the wrong chart when looking at the changes I made. Take another look at the previous version you reverted. The Smiler is still listed under "Most inversions". --GoneIn60 (talk) 14:10, 5 June 2015 (UTC)

Incidents at Tokyo Disney Resort

An IP address has blanked the section mentioning the earthquake at Tokyo Disney. I figured that someone a little more reputable and knowledgeable could fix the damage. 12.164.193.253 (talk) 22:13, 10 June 2015 (UTC)

WikiProject:REHAB update

You signed up for WikiProject User Rehab

Hi there, I'm RDN1F. It's come to my attention that you've signed up for WikiProject Rehab, but since that time the project has retired. I've decided to take it upon myself to rejuvenate the project - but I could do with your help. If you are still willing to help mentor (or even give me a hand in bringing this project back!) leave a message on my talk page

Xbox One

I noticed you've contributed to gaming articles in the past, so perhaps if you have time you could check out a recent discussion at Xbox One concerning a controversial proposal. Any feedback you can give would be greatly appreciated, thanks. --GoneIn60 (talk) 21:02, 24 June 2015 (UTC)

Theme park POV editing

I notice if anyone adds pejorative or unflattering detail to a theme park article, no matter how well sourced, you quickly revert it while often using dishonest or misleading rationales, like "fails verification", or "sources are not reliable" (USA Today, really?), or "synopses require sourcing" (which isn't true, check the movie and book article guidelines). If you're going to edit WP, I'm going to have to ask you to follow the rules a little better. Are you being paid to watch the theme park articles? If not, why are you doing this? Cla68 (talk) 21:48, 25 June 2015 (UTC)

Simple ... the information was wrong. The whole reason you got blocked a couple of weeks ago was on a false premise (with no small amount of gaming the system). This time, you're adding sensational information from a film that is no more than a propaganda piece for PETA. If you're going to duplicate the contents of another article, better to add the unbiased source (the coroner's report) instead, as has now been done. --McDoobAU93 21:57, 25 June 2015 (UTC)
You just replaced a secondary source with a primary source. Don't you know that WP's guidelines say that secondary sources should be used first before primary sources? What's the matter with you? I'm going to go follow WP's guidelines and replace the secondary source. You need to start following the rules, dude. Cla68 (talk) 21:59, 25 June 2015 (UTC)
You're going to edit-war without even knowing what a primary source is? Really? Even if it were to meet primary source, the sourcing is allowed dependent on the type of source. A government entity is more reliable than a propaganda film, without question, and Wikipedia consensus would back that up. --McDoobAU93 22:02, 25 June 2015 (UTC)

Thank you

I am on vacation and only have my phone. So I cannot really participate in any discussions. I have not checked my email for a few days and when I did I noticed I had a message on my talk page. It was not a very friendly message from someone who has a pov against SeaWorld. Thank you for ensuring the SeaWorld article remains neutral. I will probably not check my email again for a few days. If I had more access to the internet and a computer I would be involved more in the discussions. Thanks again VVikingTalkEdits 22:25, 25 June 2015 (UTC)

Your opinion

Hi there McDoobAU93, could I ask for your opinion at Talk:Hogwarts Express (people mover)#Page name. Thanks, CDRL102 (talk) 18:29, 1 August 2015 (UTC)

STOP

STOP
PLZ STOP TAKING OUT MY "MAJOR ATTRACTIONS" EDIT IT IS VEERRRYYYY FRUSTRATING PLZ. And I did base it on fact I went on Google and typed in Busch gardens major attractions and I went on the Busch gardens site and it showed me what the major attraction are Wipout20 (talk) 21:20, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
Sorry, but search engine results are again up to interpretation. If you feel it's important, discuss on the talk page and do NOT add it back to the article until consensus is reached. --McDoobAU93 21:25, 3 August 2015 (UTC)

Hi I am the one who wrote "Major Attractions and it is most definitely based on fact and you can go on the Busch Gardens website if u want just like I did so plz just STOP — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wipout20 (talkcontribs) 21:27, 3 August 2015 (UTC)

Again, you've been asked and encouraged to visit the article talk page and state your case. Do not attempt to add this back until consensus is reached. --McDoobAU93 21:30, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
McDoobAU93, you too need to mind WP:3RR on this article. --NeilN talk to me 22:21, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
@NeilN you are of course correct. It shouldn't have gone that far. --McDoobAU93 04:27, 4 August 2015 (UTC)

Selective reverts

Hello, McDoobAU93! May I ask that when you think an edit is not all you wish for it to be, that you be more selective in what parts of the edit you revert? Instead of reverting an entire edit it may sometimes be better to just revert the part you disagree with. If you do disagree with the entire edit, it may be helpful to others if you motivate each part of the edit that is affected by the revert. Does that seem fair? --Bensin (talk) 20:30, 7 October 2015 (UTC)

I was selective in what I reverted. I undid the whole thing as it doesn't belong. For my reasoning why, please see the talk page thread. --McDoobAU93 21:11, 7 October 2015 (UTC)
In the cases you revert an edit covering different aspects of the article, could you then please motivate why those aspects should be reverted in your edit summary? --Bensin (talk) 21:43, 7 October 2015 (UTC)
I'm not making any more changes to the article. I've made my case in the talk page, and per WP:BURDEN it is time for you to make yours. --McDoobAU93 21:43, 7 October 2015 (UTC)
Yes, let's move the discussion regarding the article to Talk:Angry_Birds#Leaking_user_data instead. I noticed that a little more than 1/3 of your last 500 edits were reverts or undos and I just think that the reverts on Angry Birds did not meet your otherwise high standard of edit summaries. So please consider my request to expand your edit summaries when reverting an edit covering unrelated parts of an article. --Bensin (talk) 22:22, 7 October 2015 (UTC)

SeaWorld edits

I added common knowledge contained in a multitude of sources, which does not need to be cited. I know what I'm doing. Thank you. 98.247.93.88 (talk) 23:16, 20 October 2015 (UTC)

What you added was your personal opinion on the matter. You're welcome to it, but you're not welcome to add it to an article. And yes, edits must be cited as what you describe is not anywhere close to "common knowledge". For details, please refer to this section and this section. --McDoobAU93 14:26, 21 October 2015 (UTC)
I know the policy. Do not lecture me. 98.247.93.88 (talk) 17:25, 27 October 2015 (UTC)
Glad to hear you're aware of it. Looking forward to your future cited and neutral edits. --McDoobAU93 17:31, 27 October 2015 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. For the Election committee, MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 16:22, 23 November 2015 (UTC)

Half-Adopt?

Even though I do not want you to fully adopt me, I'd like you to kind of show me how to make useful edits. So far I've heavily been into anti-vandalism. Recently I've been to a kind of edit war, and I would also like you to show me how I can avoid it. Regards, Dat GuyWiki (talk) 10:18, 26 November 2015 (UTC)
