Information icon Hello, I'm Julietdeltalima. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Jamie Foxx, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Wikipedia is not a tabloid or a gossip magazine. This is an encyclopedia. Please read Wikipedia's definition of reliable sources, find a reliable source for these contentions regarding living people, and propose a change on their articles' talk pages. Julietdeltalima (talk) 22:51, 14 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to Jennifer Garner. Thank you. Julietdeltalima (talk) 22:52, 14 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello! Thank you for your recent contributions to Daniel Moder. I did have one note for you. I am working on a maintenance project to clean up Category:Pages using infoboxes with thumbnail images. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). If you have any questions, let me know! :-) You can respond on my talk page, or here. If you respond here, please include {{ping|zackmann08}} in your response so I am notified. --Zackmann08 (Talk to me/What I been doing) 16:38, 21 July 2016 (UTC) Zackmann08 (Talk to me/What I been doing) 20:07, 24 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Michelleyumusic. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article China's Forgotten Children, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. —KuyaBriBriTalk 20:45, 5 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Reliable Sources

[edit]

Thank you for creating the article on Paige Spara. Please note that FamousBirthdays.com is not a reliable source. Make sure when sourcing you use newspaper websites, magazine websites, reliable online new websites, etc.. Don't just take the first source you find. It could be unreliable. Cormac Hayes moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Cormac Hayes, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ... discospinster talk 00:49, 14 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
