Sonic Citadel moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Sonic Citadel, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Track listing styles

[edit]

Hi - please don't change the track listing style to the track listing template if another style is already in use, as you did at Easter Is Cancelled... per WP:STYLEVAR, "when either of two styles are [sic] acceptable it is inappropriate for a Wikipedia editor to change from one style to another unless there is some substantial reason for the change". For track listings, the album article style guide states that they should generally be a numbered list, except for more complicated cases - see Wikipedia:WikiProject Albums/Album article style advice#Style and form. These "complicated cases" tend to be albums by R&B and hip hop artists, where usually each track has several different writers and/or producers, or possibly for live albums recorded at different venues, or cover albums with songs by different writers. However, in the case of most albums by solo artists or rock bands, the majority, if not all, of the songs are written by the same person(s) and have the same producer. With no extra information to impart, this results in a lot of white space in between the title on the left of the page and the track timing on the right, hence the preference for a simple numbered list. Thank you. Richard3120 (talk) 23:38, 11 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It seems like you are continuing to do this. Why? ―Justin (koavf)TCM 16:13, 22 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
And you've done it again and are not responding to anyone on your talk page or otherwise justifying your edits. Why? ―Justin (koavf)TCM 16:36, 23 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
i just did, also stop stalking me that's weird. by the way someone explained to me in a actual logical way so i guess it's ok now, also I justified it on Richard3120's page.
Stalking? ―Justin (koavf)TCM 09:45, 26 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know it just felt that way i guess

The reason I edit tracklists

[edit]

because most of them are unorganized, unfinished, and just messy. i thought that was obvious.

How are lists unorganized? Please give me an example of a track listing that was unfinished. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 09:46, 26 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Midcey

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Slatersteven and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Io Sono Quel Che Sono/Menina Mulher Da Pele Preta, should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Io Sono Quel Che Sono/Menina Mulher Da Pele Preta.

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Slatersteven}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

What's wrong with the wiki for there to be a possibility of deletion?

Some of the content you included in the above article appears to have been copied from http://xopublicity.com/blog, which is not released under a compatible license. Copying text directly from a source is a violation of Wikipedia's copyright policy. Unfortunately, for copyright reasons, the content had to be removed. I have never been to that website my entire life. I got sources from the Pluralone website only, which is where the album's info is. I have never been on http://xopublicity.com/blog, ever. This was written in my own words and the Pluralone website's words. - Midcey

Niandra Lades edits

[edit]

I know you did this like half a year ago but what on earth did you do with the tracklisting section of Niandra? Why is the main tracklist showing the impossible-to-find promo cassette instead of the widely-released original version? And what is this outtake tracklist that you've compiled? That was never released in any official way. If you wanted to include info about songs from the Niandra sessions, you should've written a different section about it, tracklists should only be for official releases.

The wikipedia page should look something like this https://www.discogs.com/John-Frusciante-Niandra-LaDes-And-Usually-Just-A-T-Shirt/master/30172 or what it looked like before your edits. Now it's very confusing to someone looking for basic information. I've reverted back to the the previous tracklist, but I have kept your track write-ups (for the album proper) and fixed some formatting issues. Feel free to re-add a section to the article about outtakes, but again, you will have to rewrite it and source/cite that information. It doesn't make sense to include 1997 bootleg live versions when the album was released in 1994 for example. Burnedthru 18:10, 19 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
