AJ Cook

[edit]

I dug through the Maxim article on AJ, both in the magazine and on the website. Where does she say that information about her parents is false, because I can't find it... Tabercil (talk) 18:42, 31 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, that looks like one of the foreign versions, pprobably the UK Australian edition of Maxim based on the "Airs on Channel Seven" comment at the bottom. I was looking at the US version of it. Tabercil (talk) 04:10, 1 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Nives Celsius may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. Speedy deletion declined: Alien vs. Predator

[edit]

Hello MississippiSouth. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Alien vs. Predator, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: That's not uncontroversial; the various (franchise} and (film) pages have all been moved recently. Needs a proper consensus on what should go where. Thank you. GedUK  11:53, 22 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited While She Was Out, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Thriller. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Image without license

Unspecified source/license for File:Silent Hills logo.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Silent Hills logo.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 14:46, 30 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, just saw that you uploaded a new version of File:Cybernatural 2014 poster.jpg. I'm kind of leery about outright replacing the image like that for two big reasons: First is that the name for the film has changed. It's no longer Cybernatural- it's now called Unfriended. Labeling it as Cybernatural just seems a little bit confusing, considering the name change. The second is that the file you've uploaded is the teaser poster. Teaser posters are usually not the final posters that hit the theaters and they're almost always replaced because things change between now and then. (Images change, tag lines change, etc.) I was personally going to wait until the official poster had been released (the one that shows the release date) and then rather than just outright delete the old image I was going to move the old poster down to the production and release section to show the film's name change. We can have the teaser poster, but I do think that it needs to be uploaded separately under the correct title rather than outright replacing the original image I uploaded. I'm going to replace this with the Cybernatural poster and then you can upload the teaser poster if you want. Just please don't upload it to the same title as the Cybernatural poster, rather upload it to something like File:Unfriended teaser poster.jpg or something like that since it will show the new title and reflect on this being a teaser poster. Children of the Corn (film series)

[edit]

I reverted an edit you made back in August 2014 where you removed the 2009 Syfy movie from the film table. While it is not part of the same continuity as the other films, it is still a Children of the Corn movie and hence part of the franchise to be labeled on a page referring to all the films associated with the franchise and with that name. And it IS very well an installment. An "installment" refers to any movie being made in the franchise, whether it's a remake, reboot, or sequel and regardless of what company is behind it whether it's a film company or a TV company. You're confused thinking it has to be a sequel to the 1984 movie and or have to be made by a non-TV company to be an installment. Either way, that is not the case. It's an installment simply because it's an official Children of the Corn movie and the eighth one made, so here we have it being the EIGHTH installment in the franchise. The following movie "Children of the Corn: Genesis" would be the NINTH installment, but also the seventh sequel to the original movie since it follows that's continuity. - Jabrona (talk) 16:26, 25 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Category rename

[edit]

You appear to be trying to rename Category:Big Brother (TV series) seasons to Category:Big Brother (franchise) seasons by moving the articles and subcategories. All proposed category renames require listing at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion. Articles can be boldy renamed without discussion but not categories. Has this been discussed anywhere? Notice

The file File:REC 4 soundtrack.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-free album cover being used in a decorative manner in REC 4: Apocalypse#Soundtrack. Non-free album cover art is generally allowed to be used for primary identification purposes in stand-alone articles about albums, but its use in other articles is generally only allowed when the cover art itself is the subject of sourced critical commentary as explained in WP:NFC#cite_note-3 and the context for non-free use required by WP:NFCC#8 is evident. There is no such commentary for this particular album cover anywhere in the article, and the use of soundtrack album cover art in articles about films or TV programs is generally not allowed for this reason as explained in WP:FILMSCORE.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Marchjuly (talk) 08:14, 30 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
