Request reason:

I think I should be unblocked because I understand what I did was wrong and shouldn't of done what I did, I was just having a play and try with wikipedia. I promise that if I get unblocked I will give valuable contributions. I would also be fine with clean start. I will make sure to try hard when editing and not cause any issues. Also I just want to say when I previously asked someone who reverted my edit what I did wrong but they didn't reply but it was still my fault for my actions. I will make sure I don't get blocked again. Please take into consideration what I have just said. Thanks NUMBERSAREGOOD123 (talk) 05:27, 29 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You are not eligible for a clean start as you are blocked. Hope you had fun playing around, and that now you realize actions have consequences. Please use the process below to demonstrate a substantive edit(more than fixing spelling or grammar or updating a statistic) you would make to an article of your choosing.

This unblock request has been declined due to your history of vandalism and/or disruption to this encyclopedia. However, we are willing to give you another chance provided that you can earn back the trust of the Wikipedia community. To be unblocked you need to demonstrate and confirm that you are willing and able to contribute positively to Wikipedia. You can do this by:

Once you have decided on the article you will propose improvements to:

    1. Click the Edit tab at the top of that article;
    2. Copy the portion of the prose from that article that you will be proposing changes to. However:
      • do not copy the "infobox" from the start of the article (i.e., markup like this: ...),
      • do not copy any image placement code (i.e., markup like this: ),
      • do not copy the page's categories from the bottom of the page (i.e., markup like this: ),
      • and do not copy the stub tag (if there) from the bottom of the page (i.e., markup like this: Foo stub);
    3. Click edit at your talk page and paste at the bottom under a new section header (like this: == Article title ==) the copied content but do not save yet;
    4. Place your cursor in the edit summary box and paste there an edit summary in the following form which specifies the name of the article you copied from and links to it (this is required for mandatory copyright attribution): "Copied content from exact Name of Article; see that article's history for attribution."
    5. You can now save the page. However, if your edits have any citations to reliable sources (which they should), add the following template to the end of your prose: reflist-talk. Once you have added the template, click Publish changes.
  • Now, edit that content. Propose significant and well researched improvements by editing the selected portion of the article. Please note that we are not looking for basic typo corrections, or small unreferenced additions; your edits should be substantial, and reflect relevant policies.
  • When you are done with your work, re-request unblocking using unblock and an administrator will review your proposed edits.
    • If we (including the original blocking admin) are convinced that your proposed edits will hopefully improve Wikipedia as an encyclopedia, you will be unblocked.

If you need help while working with your proposed edits, you may add "your question here ~~~~" to your talk page. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 10:18, 29 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the unblock template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

It is not letting me edit the articles— Preceding unsigned comment added by NUMBERSAREGOOD123 (talkcontribs)

I removed your malformed help request; you don't edit the article itself. You follow the instructions above to demonstrate on this page the edit you would actually make to an article if you were unblocked. 331dot (talk) 10:09, 30 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits demonstrate you don't understand WP:CITE and WP:RS. It is critical, therefore, that you should remain blocked. We certainly don't want edits like the ones you demonstrated. Yamla (talk) 11:34, 30 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Is there something specific I need to work on, could you please tell me, and if I remain blocked can it be for a certain amount of time?

I think I should be unblocked because I have demonstrated that I am willing to help the Wikipedia community and will continue to try and help. I will guarantee that I will perform no other acts of vandalism or anything harmful. I will work on minor edits at the start if I get unblocked. Putting an end date on the block does nothing in terms of you showing us that you understand the reasons for the block, and that you will make productive edits if unblocked. You've been told what the issue with your attempt at an edit was. If your help is not provided properly, it would be a waste of time for everyone(including you) to allow you to do it. 331dot (talk) 09:45, 1 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I understand the reasons for the block and willing to admit what I did was not right. I will not repeat my mistakes. I can promise I will provide productive and constructive edits after a bit of practice with the sandbox tool. If I don't provide good contributions I will accept that I have been blocked again. I will start with small edits and work my way up to harder edits. I will asks questions to my mentor that you get and get better. I would really appreciate if I get unblocked and will make sure to not get blocked again. Thanks

You clearly don't' understand the problem with your edits. It's not even clear that you bothered to read WP:CITE and WP:RS and definitely are not demonstrating a clear understanding of them. In fact, what you are clearly demonstrating is that WP:CIR applies. You have two open unblock requests, neither of which come close to being convincing. Your best bet is to remove both open unblock requests and listen to what you've been told. If instead you leave both unblock requests open or if you make a third open unblock request, you will lose access to this talk page. --Yamla (talk) 10:52, 1 December 2

Hi, how do we remove open unblock requests?

Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by NUMBERSAREGOOD123 (talkcontribs)

Your're a little late, your duplicate open request was dealt with. 331dot (talk) 09:40, 2 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, So can I make more unblock requests? Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by NUMBERSAREGOOD123 (talkcontribs)

Remember to sign your posts when posting. You can make one more unblock request, but it will need to be substantially different than your prior ones and indicate that you have heeded the advice on this page. I would ask if English is your primary language- if not, you may be more comfortable editing the Wikipedia of your primary language. 331dot (talk) 10:03, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hi, I actually carefully thought about my actions which led me to being blocked. I am serious when I say I know why I was blocked. I request it be considered that I am unblocked because I spent a long time thinking of what I could do to make Wikipedia better. I have thought of the fact that by making small grammar and spelling edits it would be great. Going forward I promise to be a good member of the Wikipedia community. It has been some time since I opened Wikipedia but now I am back. I have read all the advice and rules on this page and will follow them to the best I can. I understand your concern about unblocking me but I sincerely request you consider unblocking me. Thanks for reading my reason to be unblocked NUMBERSAREGOOD123 (talk) 12:54, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Most people who say "I know why I was blocked" later show that they actually don't. You need to show us that you know by telling us. We've also already said that we have no interest in allowing you to make simple edits like fixing spelling, that bridge has been burned. You are down to your last on-wiki chance here, so make it count. 331dot (talk) 13:48, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hi, As you've said this is my last unblock request, I want to make it count. I have read everything on this talk page and first I want to say that the reason for my block was the fact that I edited pages with the wrong intention which in turn led me to being blocked for vandalism. I accept that I have been blocked but I would like to say that I really should be unblocked because I have changed my intentions and want to be a member of the community. I have read the rules and policies of Wikipedia and will abide by them. If I get unblocked I will cause no harm or vandalism to the community. I know that you still think that I should be blocked but I believe I have followed the guide to appealing blocks to the best of my abilities and take full responsibility of my previous actions. I would greatly appreciate it if you also go over everything and make a decision. Thanks,NUMBERSAREGOOD123 (talk) 12:55, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I still do not see that you have demonstrated your ability to make appropriate edits.
