2023 White House incident moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, 2023 White House incident, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. –MJLTalk 05:03, 24 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know if it that article is ready, champ. Maybe give it some time. –MJLTalk 05:05, 24 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
With all due respect, "champ"?. Really? Onion1981 (talk) 05:07, 24 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Los Angeles, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Avoid MOS:PUFFERY. Donald Albury 23:33, 26 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

alright, sorry about that Onion1981 (talk) 23:34, 26 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm S0091. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Incels.is, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. S0091 (talk) 21:02, 28 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Incels.is, you may be blocked from editing. S0091 (talk) 21:07, 28 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It's not unsourced tho, both websites are intermingled. Onion1981 (talk) 21:08, 28 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.

Happy editing! Cheers, S0091 (talk) 18:35, 1 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Why did you send me this right after threatening to block me, with all due respect? Onion1981 (talk) 22:22, 2 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The purpose of warnings is get an editor to stop whatever it is they are doing and you did stop then left a civil note on my talk page which are the right things to do. Afterwards I noticed you had not yet received a Welcome message with helpful guidance about editing Wikipedia which I thought was the right thing for me to do.
