Welcome![edit]

Hello, Pallet182, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions seem to be advertising or for promotional purposes. Wikipedia does not allow advertising. For more information on this, please see:

If you still have questions, there is a new contributors' help page, or you can click here to ask a question on your talk page. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia:

I hope you enjoy editing Wikipedia! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! —moonythedwarf (Braden N.) 21:23, 20 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I see you have been editing Draft:Sope Willams- Elegbe. Please be aware Sope Willams Elegbe exists and there should be no need to edit that draft which may be deleted. Thankyou. Djm-leighpark (talk) 19:47, 28 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

a redirect works to preserve the history, since the duplication of effort should not be deleted. --Pallet182 (talk) 19:57, 28 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Cross namespace redirects don't work. Both the drafts are redirects at Sope Willams-Elegbe and Sope Willams- Elegbe where there history is. I've wasted more than enough time on these, (as have you), and if 2nd one gets deleted at XfD I wouldn't be to unhappy. You might wat to add an R with History Rcat but that's up to you, ask at the WP:TEAHOUSE for advice. As far as I could tell the existing article was not a copyvio, but who knows. It may be eligible for XfD as it avoided AfC. Sorry you time was wasted though. Djm-leighpark (talk) 20:50, 28 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Actually please see Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2022 March 1. Thankyou. Djm-leighpark (talk) 03:51, 1 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sherysyn Toko moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Sherysyn Toko, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Unfortunately, there isn't evidence that this subject passes the general notability guideline (WP:GNG). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Ovinus (talk) 21:22, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop[edit]

Please stop creating BLP, if you are unsure of how to do so. This is not a race. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 02:30, 11 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Iona Frickleton moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Iona Frickleton, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). Notice

The article Ashari Gill has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

not a notable person

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

Information icon

Hello Pallet182. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Pallet182. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Pallet182|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. — DaxServer (t · m · e · c) 19:12, 10 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked as a sockpuppet[edit]

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively as a sockpuppet of User:Slowking4 per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Slowking4. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
