Thanks for the heads up. I have a book that is being published and many people are looking for this standard biographical information found on any author's or scholar's page. Second, see "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allen_Estrin" which is clearly written by or at the direction of the author, yet is harmlessly sitting on your site. Third, my article is impeccably annotated, from top to bottom. Finally, although I understand the sentiment that you are trying to express when you insist that "someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later," that mantra is illogical, counterproductive, insulting and naive on so many levels. I'd recommend reading WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. If you cannot see the promotional language within the draft that currently exists or understand the reasons for Wikipedia's policies regarding self-promotion exist, then I'm afraid you will likely have to wait until someone does decide to write an article on you. Additionally, I'm not entirely sure that holds much water as the original Allen Estrin article was actually deleted due to its promotional nature and at the time questionable notability and the editor who created it was blocked. The current article was actually created by someone with no indication of being a WP:PAID/WP:COI editor (and who has been an active editor for 8 years), submitted as a draft through Articles for Creation and none of the heavier contributors appear to have any conflict of interest. See WP:IMDb the content on IMDb is user-generated, and the site is considered unreliable for Wikipedia's purposes. This [1]] is a passing mention so useless for establishing any notablity. Which character?

"I was the associate producer on one of David Zucker’s projects, directed by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, just before they created South Park. In fact, there is a South Park character that I inspired and I am credited on South Park's pilot episode." This is what you said. Which character were you referring to, that you inspired? The Kyle Broflovski article suggests the character is “loosely based on co-creator Matt Stone and Rich Brownstein” but the source is not reliable as it is an interview with Brownstein. Theroadislong (talk) 13:53, 9 October 2021 (UTC)

My South Park character name was vague in this article at one time, because documenting it was not worth the fight. Then a draft editor mistakenly and grievously overreached by stating in several places that the character I inspired was Kyle Broflovski, which I took out. I replaced the editor's error with the real character name and links. Then another editor removed it all.

For the record, the character I inspired is "Shlomo" from The Passion of the Jew and Jewbilee. That was my nickname when working with the Zucker Brothers and Trey Parker and Matt Stone. youtu.be/kz1tumZOaqw?t=932. Trey and Matt also credited me as their "computer consultant" in the South Park Pilot episode https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0121955/fullcredits?ref_=tt_ov_st_sm, which was also true. And they asked that I play a rabbi in Orgazmo, but I declined. (Coincidentally, Orgazmo co-star Dian Bachar worked for me at The Transcription Company for many years after.) I received the nickname "Shlomo" in the early 1990s when I was a player and the official scorekeeper in David Zucker's very real Baseketball league that was played at Zucker's Westwood home years before the film. There was another player named "Rich" (Markey), so David Zucker said that I needed a different name and suggested "Spike". Not wanting that name, I tricked David by saying, "At least it's better than Shlomo!" "No," he said, "Shlomo is perfect." Other notable league players were Oscar winner Peter Farrelly and Creative Artists Agency co-chairman Richard Lovett. A few years ago when David was in Jerusalem screening Airplane! at a huge theater, he was asked during a post-screening Q&A, "Is it true that your greatest producer was also the official scorekeeper in your BASEketball league?" He answered, "Yes, it's true. That was Rich Brownstein, but we called him 'Shlomo'." We subsequently had dinner and David has written a foreword for my book. Full circle, BASEketball also is referenced in The Passion of the Jew and noted on the BASEketball wikipedia page:

Parker and Stone also referenced BASEketball's negative reception in South Park's season eight episode, "The Passion of the Jew", where at one point, Stan Marsh tells Kenny McCormick as they attempt to get a refund for the tickets they bought to see Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ: "This is about being able to hold bad filmmakers responsible! This is just like when we got our money back for BASEketball!"

I also want to say that this process of watching editors pick over my life and remove parts of it as "unverifiable" is unfortunate. Do I own my personal photo? Did I work with Elizabeth Loftus? Who cares about your groundbreaking research in social psychology that is regularly cited in academic journals!? You can't prove that strangers who are the leading voices in Holocaust education wrote nice things about your book, even though their words have been publically available for a year on my publisher's and Amazon's websites? Those nice things must have been written by your friends, one idiot editor implied! I can go on to literally any wiki bio and find more unsubstantiated content than I ever had:

I am suggesting that you are holding my article to a different standard than articles that have already been published. I also have been contacted privately by editors asking for money: "pay me when the page is approved and published". Again, I am not suggesting that you are corrupt. I am not suggesting that you are all capricious and enjoying your power. And I am certainly not suggesting that you should put up the pages of every person who wants one. I am suggesting that -- for whatever reason -- the page would not have garnered this much friction had I not written it myself, the ultimate insult to your craft. Please forgive my ignorance and temerity. This has become such a timesuck that I genuinely regret having started. Nonetheless, I will check with my publisher to verify that I have permission to use the book cover on Wikipedia. So you tell me: bribe or shakedown. Should I pay this person so the Wikipolice can track him down? If I expose him -- or even now just because of this semi-outing -- he might mess with my page forever, especially with an alias or with other unscrupulous editors. Perhaps a "Wikipedian" is not an editor, but he is clearly in the system, regardless of title. Theroadislong, you have been very helpful, but you have challenged my veracity twice in this post. I removed content about you on the Kyle Broflovski article, not your draft. I would strongly suggest you don't get involved with paid editors real or scam, it would only end in tears. With good reliable sources there is every chance of having an acceptable article about you if you pass the criteria at WP:GNG, it just shouldn't be written by you. That is a separate issue, you presumably don't hold the copyright for the book cover artwork.  Fair use applies, the image could be used to serve as the primary means of visual identification at the top of an article dedicated to the book in question, but not elsewhere. You don't own the copyright of the photograph? The copyright rests with the creator or the publisher, the cover art can normally only be used in the article about the book, unless the cover art can be freely licensed, see WP:CONSENT, c:COM:OTRS and {{di-no permission-notice}}. I am also re-suggesting that my history in psychology is not irrelevant and is quite notable, especially because most research that has had longevity was not produced by an undergraduate. My research has been, on average, cited in significant journals at least once a year :

My research was also presented at the 1985 Annual Western Psychological Association conference. And I was briefly a Ph.D. candidate of famed American psychologist Elizabeth Loftus at the University of Washington. She is very notable! "In 2002, Loftus was ranked 58th in the Review of General Psychology's list of the 100 most influential psychological researchers of the 20th century, and was the highest ranked woman on the list." Do you need a note from Loftus confirming that I was in her program?
