A tag has been placed on User:Randall Casper, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

appears to violate WP:FAKEARTICLE

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

See WP:UP#NOT,

"Generally, you should avoid substantial content on your user page that is unrelated to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a general hosting service, so your user page is not a personal website. Your user page is about you as a Wikipedian, and pages in your user space should be used as part of your efforts to contribute to the project."

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because this webpage adds value to the Wikipedia community by connecting published historical articles with well regarded U.S. Universities and pertinent figures in U.S. history, politics and research. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Randall Casper (talkcontribs)

Did you happen to read WP:UP#NOT? I see a lot of information in this page. If Casper (you I presume) is notable enough for a Wikipedia article, then I would advise you create an article on Casper, rather than make a userspace page, though you would definitely have to trim a lot of the fluffier and resume-y things such as "Casper has diverse acquisition, asset management and investment management experience involving a broad range of property types and investment structures for both separate accounts and company funds. Casper has shown proficiency in client relationship management and new business development as well as tailoring investment plans in accordance with clients’ needs, short- and long-term goals, and risk profiles. Casper is also adept at taking complex information and tailoring it into presentations that are appropriate for the knowledge level of a client or other audience(s)." • Information icon Please do not write or add to an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 15:17, 19 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Content that is unrelated to Wikipedia comprises the entirety of your user page, and therefore your page was deleted. Recreating it was not a very good idea. Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because... (your reason here) -- Craven Randall Casper 16:32, 19 January 2014 (UTC) Jonathan, I have edited your suggestion to remove materials which you deemed would appear to be resume like material. Rather, there is significance to the links for academic research and this biography of a noted individual, which is not an autobiography. I did not simply repost the page as you indicated in your last correspondence. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Randall Casper (talkcontribs)

I apologize if this was not clear, but my suggestion on what to remove was only the most glaringly incorrect thing I picked out from a cursory inspection of the content you created. Moreover, that would've been regarding a Wikipedia article, of which many are biographical, not a userspace page, which may not contain excessive biographical content that is not related to your contributions to Wikipedia(for reference, see User:RHaworth and User:MatthewVanitas as examples of appropriate uses of userpage space. I see that you have been blocked from editing by User:RHaworth, this appears to have been because you contacted him on his talk page and stated that the content you wrote was not an autobiography - however, as the content was about a Randall Casper and your username is Randall Casper, it certainly appeared to be autobiographical in nature. Should you be unblocked and wish to create an article, I would encourage you to contact the reviewer who declined your Article for Creation submission, User:MatthewVanitas and seek advice, or to follow the advice he has left you here on your talk page and see the Articles for creation help desk or the [[Wikipedia:Teahouse|Teahouse]. • There is no need to leave the same message three times. If you are not Craven Randall Casper, why are you !signing yourself thus? You do not need to give us your real name but we would like an honest declaration of your relationship to Randall Casper. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:38, 19 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Randall Casper. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Craven Randall Casper".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Craven Randall Casper}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 12:57, 15 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
