Hi!
Thanks for the fair use image on The Joey Bishop Show (talk show). That's a great addition to the article! -- Whpq (talk) 14:02, 13 September 2011 (UTC)
Commons
I have moved all your free uploads to commons but has not marked it as {{Now Commons}} since you have {{Keep Local}} tag on it. Can you please check the transfers and replace Keep Local with {{subst:ncd}} if the transfer is satisfactory? --Sreejith K (talk) 06:56, 14 September 2011 (UTC)
- Have checked everything you moved at Commons and replaced the local tags here. We hope (talk) 14:29, 14 September 2011 (UTC)
- Whoops! Just found a bunch that moved but didn't show up on my watchlist, so am off to take care of them now! We hope (talk) 14:42, 14 September 2011 (UTC)
- You can go to "My Contributions" link and then click on "Uploads" to get the complete list of files you have uploaded. --Sreejith K (talk) 16:44, 14 September 2011 (UTC)
I have to go through the entire list as there's technically been no change on the file here, so it doesn't show up on my watchlist. We hope (talk) 16:46, 14 September 2011 (UTC)
- I did not mark any of the images as Now Commons because they all have a Keep Local tag on it and so my changes will be reverted. But since you are primarily relying on your watchlist, I will be adding the Now Commons tag for your uploads. --Sreejith K (talk) 05:41, 15 September 2011 (UTC)
- Please let me tag them for commons in future so I don't have to rush to categorize them there. We hope (talk) 07:12, 15 September 2011 (UTC)

- I've restored the ref, so the cat should re-populate soon. Unfortunately, it seems there is a lag today, so it's not as quick as I hoped it would. For now, I'm going through the subcats in Category:Districts of Russia by federal subject and fixing the entries from O to Z. The ref error shows up in the affected articles, even though the cat isn't yet populated. If you want to help again, I sure am not going to refuse :) This is one hell of a boring job! Declined three speedy deletion nominations
So you know, and since I want you to take further action on them: I have declined your speedy deletion nominations for File:Bugoy carino atom.jpg, File:Cocoalexandjavier.jpg, and File:Andiandmajaminsan.jpg. I declined them because there was no evidence that they sat out the required waiting period for most of the F7 criteria, and this one isn't so amazingly obvious that I'm willing to zap it on sight.
That said, I do agree with you that these are unnecessary non-free files, and believe that your logic on the matter is sound. Thus i would like you to do the following:
- Orphan the images, i.e. remove them from any articles where they currently exist. Having done that...
- Tag them for "pseudo-speedy" deletion using {{subst:orfud}}.
If someone challenges the deletions by adding the files back to the article and removing the tags, submit them to WP:FFD. SchuminWeb (Talk) 02:35, 24 September 2011 (UTC)

Blue Ridge Rollergirls Logo
Thanks for handling the Blue Ridge Rollergirls logo rationale. Everytime I upload an image, I pray the gods there's no question, and if there is, as this time, I'm basically a WP newbie: Clueless and distressed. I very much appreciate that you took my notes and transformed them into the proper format. If there were specific instructions on how to do that I missed them. FWIW, I find the whole upload process hugely confusing. Perhaps it is designed to be scary. Anyway, thanks so much for sorting this out on my behalf. I really appreciate it.--Nemonoman (talk) 12:42, 26 September 2011 (UTC)

Hello. You have a new message at Skier Dude's talk page.
I have recently uploaded the image and provided sources and copied the "Permission" information from one of your files. Should there be any improvements? I should have proven: this image is in the public domain. By the way, when you see the revisions, I must have had trouble and impatience when the photo could not change. --Gh87 (talk) 04:50, 18 October 2011 (UTC)

Hi. I don't get it, what's the problem with File:Snoras Snow Arena - Druskininkai.png? — Preceding unsigned comment added by RammyJuice (talk • contribs) 23:36, 18 October 2011 (UTC)
This photo is uploaded recently, and, to be honest, there is no "All rights reserved", no "c" markings, and any other notice of copyrights. This is just the 1973 photo, and I made the source info similar to File:Passions-cast.jpg and other promo images of Holby City characters but not exactly to the whole image and its description. Perhaps you or I should change the Source info of all your uploaded images to "For the promotion of... Downloaded from ebay:... See Permission and Licensing for more details." --Gh87 (talk) 02:46, 19 October 2011 (UTC)
Re: Merge proposal
Hi, I'm actually in the process of writing a novel and plan to use the pen name Paul MacDermott when it's eventually published so thought I may as well change my name on here. I think a merger seems like the best solution, with the 1958 album being the main article as it was the original release. I must have missed this one when I worked on Jo's earlier stuff a few years ago, but not to worry. I'll add the necessary templates, etc, to the albums and add my thoughts to the discussion. I must also get round to restoring some of the compilation album articles you listed as being notable. I'm one of these people who puts things on a to-do list then either mislays the list or forgets. :) I'll try to do it this weekend though. Cheers Paul MacDermott (talk) 09:55, 21 October 2011 (UTC)
- Alternatively, whichever album is the most notable release should be the main article. If I remember correctly now, at the time I don't think there were any track listings or images for Swingin' Down Broadway on the site I used so I didn't create an article. There were a few of the earlier albums like that, but I think we've found details about most of them now. Paul MacDermott (talk) 10:12, 21 October 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks, I'll let you know when it's ready, although I'm still working on it and have yet to find a publisher so it'll probably be a while. A Jo Stafford book sounds like an excellent idea, and I agree with you there's certainly enough information about her to produce one. There's actually a short bio of her for sale on Amazon.co.uk that someone produced a couple of years ago, but there's not much detail about it so I don't know how good it is. I might look into getting myself a copy though as it could be a useful reference. Cheers Paul MacDermott (talk) 12:32, 22 October 2011 (UTC)
- Well, wouldn't you know it? I had all sorts of plans to work on here over the weekend then my brother invited me to stay with him in London for a couple of days, so I didn't have access to a computer. Good to spend some time with him though as he's not in the UK very often so I only get to see him a couple of times a year. Now I'm back and feeling recharged I can start looking at the Jo Stafford discography again. Should just be a case of reverting my redirects, but I'll take a look and see. :) Paul MacDermott (talk) 14:42, 25 October 2011 (UTC)
- ok, think I've got them all back now. Paul MacDermott (talk) 17:20, 25 October 2011 (UTC)
- Fantastic, thanks. Paul MacDermott (talk) 20:07, 25 October 2011 (UTC)
- I agree, and I'm glad I didn't have to re-create them all from scratch as that would have taken me two or three days. I think there were about 70 I merged in all, but I'm pleased to be able to have restored a few. Perhaps one day more of them can be returned. :) Paul MacDermott (talk) 20:19, 25 October 2011 (UTC)

Maverick photos
Thanks for uploading some fantastic photos for the TV series Maverick! Upsmiler (talk) 02:31, 3 November 2011 (UTC)
- Sensational! I've been waiting for someone to upload a legal shot of Moore as Beau Maverick, and that's a stunning one with the firehats and wondrous Kathleen Crowley pointing excitedly. May I have the privilege of jigsawing it into the List of Maverick episodes site? It's obvious where it belongs on the Maverick page, of course, and I'll leave that one to you. Between you and me, I wrote approximately 99% of the Maverick site over the past six years or so under various Usernames with long-forgotten passwords and I've wished the whole time that someone should upload some photos but that never occurred until very recently, in the past few weeks. This one of Roger Moore and Kathleen Crowley should go on Moore's and Crowley's pages as well as the two Maverick ones. You're my new hero! Upsmiler (talk) 04:01, 3 November 2011 (UTC)
- I took the liberty of uploading that last photo onto the Kathleen Crowley page, where no one will see it for years, until all episodes of old TV series are readily available to everyone on big screens in perfect condition, then she'll surely be "rediscovered," probably long after I'm dead. She was incomparably the best Maverick leading lady except arguably for Diane Brewster (although Brewster had by far the best scripts on the series). Upsmiler (talk) 04:23, 3 November 2011 (UTC)
May I Suggest Some Photos?
Hello, I have to tell you that I think you are amazing with your photograph uploads and I think you have such good taste when it coems to picking good ones. A few article I think you could really update with your skills are Arlene Dahl (no photos at all), Jane Greer (No lead image), Laraine Day (in desperate need of new pictures), Robert Mitchum (hasn't had new images in years), Henry Fonda, and Clark Gable (could use a few new pictures). I just wanted to send some suggestions your way and I look forward to viewing your future work here on the site when time permits. 66.194.51.34 (talk) 15:49, 4 November 2011 (UTC)
- What's also a factor in what I'm uploading is whether the photo is copyright free or not and whether that can be proven. Will keep your suggestions in mind and see what's able to be done about getting some photos of these stars. We hope (talk) 16:19, 4 November 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for spotting the error in licensing, it's amazingly tricky to get right (and totally puts off a million newbies...). And trips up some older hands from time to time. I suspect if some Human-Computer Interaction guru looked at the file upload wizard, they'd manage to make it a bit less confusing!

Maverick and Kathleen Crowley
Took the liberty of gradually mounting the new Maverick shots you uploaded (hope you don't mind--I waited as long as I could stand it on the Maverick page itself) and wanted you to have a look at Kathleen Crowley pointing at the paragraph about herself in the third of your photos down at the beginning of the List of Maverick episodes page. Since you have blanked this talk page, would you mind that I propose a speedy deletion for your archives? --George Ho (talk) 21:22, 23 December 2011 (UTC)
