Reverting Ahollypak

I was about to revert its removals of archive.is links, but I searched for "archive.is" in WP-space and came up with this: Wikipedia:Archive.is RFC

It appears that removal of links to archive.is is approved, but Ahollypak was doing it with no edit summaries and marking the edits as minor. Ahollypak may also be part of the events discussed here at ANI. Jeh (talk) 09:58, 6 July 2014 (UTC)

Rollback

Hi Rijinatwiki/Archive 2. After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.

The reason for my contribution/edit was as follows:

1. The copy on the page was of a low standard IMO. 2. It is openly promoting something called Allmusic 3. Mark produced albums right up until 2001, the original article states that he stopped producing in 1992 - incorrect!

I thought wiki was all about facts and this is why I believe my updated article is justified

I'm just letting you know, however, that you shouldn't tag pages as lacking context (CSD A1), or content (CSD A3), moments after they are created, as you did at MATLTA. It's best to wait at least 10–15 minutes for more content to be added if the page is very short, and the articles should not be marked as patrolled. Tagging such pages in a very short space of time may drive away well-meaning contributors, which is not good for Wikipedia. Attack pages (G10), blatant nonsense (G1), copyright violations (G12) and pure vandalism/blatant hoaxes (G3) should of course be tagged and deleted immediately. Thanks. While I can understand why you deleted the Humor section as it was not complete (although if you looked at the edit page I was interrupted while working on it and planned to come back to finish ASAP) I have no idea why you deleted external links which went to a map of her journey and the text of her journal. Re Revert at Terrorism in Australia

Hi Rijinatwiki,

I noticed your recent revert here at the Terrorism in Australia page. I think you were totally correct in reverting as the incident was not sourced, and whether it was 'Terrorism' is debatable.
