Speedy deletion of H-( miss a few )-R
A tag has been placed on H-( miss a few )-R, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Largo Plazo (talk) 00:26, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
- That was because of a somewhat automatic error. The whitelist page got moved to a vandal title, thus creating the title the Grawp-vandal made. SchfiftyThree 00:28, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
- Ouch! Cool, no problem. —Largo Plazo (talk) 00:39, 16 September 2008 (UTC)

User:II MusLiM HyBRiD II's navbar
I suppose you realise that everything here is licensed under the GFDL, and as such he is perfectly within rights to use it as he has? Not that I agree with taking stuff from others' userpages without asking, I'm just talking from a legal perspective. Asenine 21:47, 29 September 2008 (UTC)

I didnt want to cause any problems, and i dotn see how taking a nav bar from another user is that important?Anyways, sorry. II MusLiM HyBRiD II 22:33, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
- You don't have to apologise for having a similar navigation bar like mine. I just left the message because I noticed it. You may continue to keep it the way you like it, though. One suspicion note: I think it is very similar to mine, but having made a few changes (e.g. background colour). The image to your userbox page has a URL as "User:II MusLiM HyBRiD II/Userbox Info", whereas the Userbox Info is the main title of my userbox subpage. Who knows? It might have been from mine, but may still keep it the way you like it. Regards, SchfiftyThree 22:38, 29 September 2008 (UTC)

That wasn't a user page, it was an article. You can't create an article of yourself unless you're really famous. If that were the case, we would have a good 4.5 billion bios in Wikipedia. Regards,Vinson 23:35, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
- Hmm...you might have a point there. I think the user might not have created the article about himself, but saw the A7 notice and blanked the page. I did not even know how the edit would be considered "unconstructive." SchfiftyThree 23:40, 29 September 2008 (UTC)

Just would like to say thanks for reverting the "AnonTalk" vandal on my user talk! SchfiftyThree (talk!) 18:04, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
- Your welcome. And you weren't exactly the only one with this problem. Somehow there were 4+ IP's adding this to around a hundred random articles before getting banned. My guess its some spambot doing this seeing they edited this much in just 2 minutes or so... A well, at least the current IP's are blocked now :) Excirial (Contact me,Contribs) 18:18, 11 October 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for adding the Huggle UBX to my userpage. It really is a nice piece of software, and handles its purpose very well. :) Regarding twinkle, I haven't really been using it much since I've started to use Huggle although I have used it for new page patrol. Once I add a little more to my userpage I'll probably remove some that from my userpage (although it will certainly remain in my monobook.css file.) Thanks for the feedback! Re:Atlantic Records
Actually, I have to go watch that myself... I'm really not caught up with popular culture these days; I guess it's a side-effect of being a nerd and having no life (both of which I've been accused of being by vandals). DARTH PANDAtalk 00:59, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
Re:Internet Software
I'm using Firefox, but on an Ubuntu OS. Why do you ask? DARTH PANDAduel 21:17, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
- Well, I was just wondering, because I always use Twinkle for my CSD tags, and it doesn't look like you have it in your monobook.js. SchfiftyThree (talk!) 21:19, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
- I haven't signed up for, installed, or even looked at Twinkle. Frankly, I usually use Huggle, but Windows seems to be having some connectivity issues at the moment. Would it be a good idea for me to go get Twinkle? DARTH PANDAduel 21:21, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
- I often use Twinkle more than Huggle nowadays, because it has a variety of options/tasks to perform instead of mainly using it to revert vandalism. There's more information to use it on the main page. How about giving it a try? If you feel more comfortable with Huggle, then that's okay; both are programmed to make an assortment of tasks to Wikipedia! SchfiftyThree (talk!) 21:36, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
- I just installed Twinkle... This makes everything so much faster and I don't have to install everything. I must say I'm quite pleased with this program. Thanks for letting me know about it! By the way though, does this only work in the MonoBook skin? I personally prefer (and tend to use) the Modern skin. DARTH PANDAduel 21:48, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
- Glad to hear that you're impressed about Twinkle! About the question, I changed my preferences to see if it were available in the other ones, but since it is inside the monobook.js, I'm not sure. I think it only appears on the MonoBook version. SchfiftyThree (talk!) 21:56, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, scratch that. They've created compatibility for Modern, and I was not paying close enough attention to notice it. I've gotten it to work now, thanks! DARTH PANDAduel 22:00, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

HAU
Hiya-
I tried adding myself to HAU the other day, but it didn't work because of the /status thing--I have another status script that I already use. I tried a workaround by substing the template, but that didn't work either. Have you any suggestions? //roux 22:31, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
- I update my status with Qui, which is in my monobook.js page. It doesn't work in Internet Explorer, and F.Y.I, works only on Special:MyPage/Status in lowercase letters. If you use Qui, the status template will work on the HAU page. SchfiftyThree (talk!) 17:11, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
- Hi.. I don't use Qui, is the thing, and don't really want to. Is there a workaround? //roux 17:28, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
- Try discussing with Useight and/or Cobi, as they helped develop the project page. SchfiftyThree(Public) 19:53, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

SchfiftyThree, I would like to thank you for your participation in my recent Request for Adminship, which passed with 112 supports, 4 opposes and 5 neutrals. A special mention goes out to Stwalkerster and Pedro for nominating me, thanks a lot for having trust in me! In response to the neutrals, I will try to double check articles that have been tagged for speedy deletion before I CSD them and will start off slowly with the drama boards of ANI and AN to ensure that I get used to them. In response to the oppose !votes on my RfA, I will check that any images I use meet the non-free content criteria and will attempt to handle any disputes or queries as well as I can. If you need my help at all, feel free to simply ask at my talk page and I'll see if I can help. Btw, I think a use can be made out of the vandal accounts list: that there be a seperate page for them so it could get cascade-protected. Perhaps that would work, but I wouldn't be able to add to the list because it would have to be fully protected ...on the other hand (as you probably already know), it was agreed that grawp's user name space pages shouldn't be tagged, and they're often vandalized by his many socks. ~ Troy (talk) 21:00, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
