No, its not ready for FA I afraid. Iĺl be copyediting it to reduce redundant matter and the huge number of headings. =Nichalp «Talk»= 18:43, 7 January 2006 (UTC)

Give me a week or so to copyedit. Thanks =Nichalp «Talk»= 16:28, 8 January 2006 (UTC)
I doubt I'll get time to do it during the week. I'll be free over the weekend as this week is pretty busy for me. I suggest you ask Sundar if he is free to copyedit, if time is important to you. Regards, =Nichalp «Talk»= 05:11, 10 January 2006 (UTC)

Pgk's RFA

Thanks for your support on my request for adminship.

The final outcome was (80/3/0), so I am now an administrator. I was flattered by the level of support and the comments, so I'm under real pressure not to disappoint, thus if you have any queries, suggestions or problems with any of my actions as an admin then please leave me a note --pgk(talk) 11:41, 8 January 2006 (UTC)

Hi there Shreshth91, Im SWD316. I would like for you to join in of the conversation about the above user at Wikipedia talk:Are You a Wikipediholic Test about his possible fake score on the test. I contacted you because you were one of the top scorers on the test, so you could probably tell if the score is fake or not. We would appriciate your input. Hi Shreshth91- Thanks for your support on my RfA. I appreciate the kind words that you used in your comments. If I can be of any service please leave me a message --rogerd 01:25, 13 January 2006 (UTC)

Awesome and amazing[edit]

Hi Shreshth, just as I was about to embark on an RC Patrol I saw your userpage on the Recent Changes - My jaw dropped when I got to know that you're just 14. It tells me that you were not even born when I was in my 9th standard. No wonder you did a good job with Fundamental Rights etc. - CBSE syllabus, especially for Civics, is damn good and was my favorite in school. Just thought I should drop in a line, to commend you for the maturity you have shown beyond your age. And, all the best for a bright future, --Gurubrahma 13:31, 14 January 2006 (UTC)

Please check Criticisms section in Constitution of India[edit]

Please check the section of criticisms. I have kept one point while ommitted another for lack of parliamentary language to describe it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pizzadeliveryboy (talkcontribs)

I've done some basic copyediting and dumped it at the Fundamental Rights of India. Its not complete. I don't think I'll be continuing for today, so I'll resume tomorrow. Regards, =Nichalp «Talk»= 14:16, 15 January 2006 (UTC)

That temp page in an article namespace is shunned by the community in favour of one's own userspace. I've left some comments embedded plz address them. I'm not sure how true the women thing is. I got it via email and I need to crosscheck the source. I don't know how much time I'll be having this week, so go ahead and add the layout as I have done by reducing the bold text. And yes, I've archived my page. I got 10 posts in 1 day :) =Nichalp «Talk»= 16:54, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
Good luck on your test. I had a big hand to play in the Featured article Geography of India, so I hope it comes useful. Regards, =Nichalp «Talk»= 17:05, 15 January 2006 (UTC)

Thanks a ton...[edit]

...for the barnstar! This is the first of its variety in my collection ;). btw, I have voted for Fundamental... for INCOTW - I think it would be the canddidate either next week or the week after that. I hope it will be improved to a better standard. Too bad 26th is very near, we should probably target August 15th as the date for this to appear as FA on the main page. --Gurubrahma 15:32, 17 January 2006 (UTC)

Artemis Fowl[edit]

Well i'm simply appalled at the quality of Artemis Fowl articles. Even though the book wont have its own project page, could you help me rewrite most of the stuff here on the lines of HP articles?

Your Wikiholic score[edit]

Ahh. You passed me on the wikiholic Top 20. Lol. I know it's bad when someone passes my score. I'm going to retake the test purely for the fact I don't want to be that high anymore. Sadly, I think I'm always going to be that high. I haven't taken the test since August, so here I go! SWD316 talk to me 01:15, 22 January 2006 (UTC)

Sorry Shreshth. I need to take a short break due to severe tooth problems. Will copyedit, if needed, when I return. -- Sundar \talk \contribs 04:34, 23 January 2006 (UTC)

Hi Shreshth91, I wanted to let you know that an article I've worked a lot on recently, the Political integration of India is now FAC. I hope you will have some time to consider the work and give it an up or down vote. Please don't consider this soliciting - I'm requesting your participation. Thanks! Rama's Arrow 04:28, 24 January 2006 (UTC)

Re:PII and FR[edit]

HI Shreshth91 - thanks for your vote of support on PII! My comments and suggestions on FR are mainly derived from my experiences on peer review and presently FAC on PII. In my opinion you should watch both PII and Kerala FACs to get a feel for the comments, problems and support to expect when you put this baby up for it. Rama's Arrow 17:56, 24 January 2006 (UTC)

Lawmaking procedure in India[edit]

Hi there!

I don't base my Wikipedia actions on the future of the article; I base them on the article that I (and any other visitors) can read. The current, one-sentence article ought not to exist; things that link to it would better link to Indian government. If you don't agree, feel free to explain why - on the talk page, as the template suggests. -Ikkyu2 16:23, 25 January 2006 (UTC)

Ah, I see you're updating it right now, and that it's going to be more comprehensive than would be appropriate under the Legislative Branch section of the Indian government article. I withdraw the suggestion. -Ikkyu2 16:25, 25 January 2006 (UTC)

Lothal PR[edit]

Hi Shreshth91, I know you're busy with PR on FR of India, but I hope you'll have some time to check out this article which I've expanded recently. Your closer knowledge of Indian history will aid considerably in its improvement. Happy R-Day (and 76th anniversary of Independence) in the homeland! Jai Sri Rama! So cool to have you here[edit]

I am from Ahmedabad, and I am studying law. I came up to be a wikipedian only a few days ago, and since then I have been trying my best to be of good help to this great organisation. I was surprised when I saw your profile, which states that you are only 14 years old! Keep up with your good work, and you would soon be having an article written, by one of your fans, about how big a prodigy you are...!!

Image Tagging Image:Star of life.gif[edit]

This image is exempt from copyrights. The image has a source and I believe that websie created. That image is in the public domain as it is avalible on many ambulances, ER uniforms, and even on ER rooms.

Tell me you were kidding with that warning. --Cool CatTalk|@ 11:59, 31 January 2006 (UTC)

Star of Life was created in 1973 by Leo R. Schwartz, Chief of the Emergency Medical Services branch at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to avoid juridic problems related to the use of derivatives of the Red Cross (like orange cross, green cross, etc.). The Star of Life was registered as a certification mark on February 1, 1977.

  1. Image is PD because it was created by a US gov employee.
  2. Image was created to evade copyright and juridic problems. Hence by nature... it is designed to evade copyright problems.

Geez. --Cool CatTalk|@ 12:13, 31 January 2006 (UTC)

I haven't seen that sort of ambulance star before, cause I'm in India and here we have a different type of cross. Anyways, the img was tagged as no copyright information, and so I thought I'd asked you. I'm sorry to here you're leaving. So many users are leaving nowadays (freestylefrappe, SWD316 and now you).--May the Force be with you! Shreshth91($ |-| r 3 $ |-| t |-|) 12:14, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
I highly recomend checking history of an image to see if the tag was modified, which was the case for this image. --Cool CatTalk|@ 12:17, 31 January 2006 (UTC)

Hi Shreshth91, I wanted to let you know that I'm sorry if you thought that me leaving was directed from your comment. It wasn't. I have just been under some real-life stress and difficulties that I haven't resolved yet. I hope I didn't offend you with anything I said. I think your a great guy too. I was just upset that you mentioned something as insignificant as the WP:HOLICTEST test on my RFA, among the other things brought up there (ex: my fake new messages box is another topic on my RFA I was mad about). I also contacted you to let you know that I am reconsidering staying with Wikipedia but as of now, I am leaving until my real-life situation is fixed. SWD316 talk to me 03:46, 1 February 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, I know I'm inactive and I don't know if or when I'll ever get to my 2004-2005 activity levels. I will try and pop in once a while, though there's also a possibility of me taking a long and extended wikibreak. On the other hand I'm glad that the Indian editor group has increased, bringing along a spurt in Indian FAs, something which I loved to produce. Anyways, best of luck in your contributions here in WP. Regards, =Nichalp «Talk»= 08:38, 1 February 2006 (UTC)

Thank you[edit]

My RFA[edit]

Hi Shreshth91/Archive4, thanks for participating in my RfA discussion. Unfortunately, my fellow Wikipedians have decided at this time that I am not suitable to take on this additional responsibility, as the RfA failed with a result of 66/27/5 (71.0% support). If you voted in support of my request, thank you! If you decided to oppose me at this time, then I hope that if I do choose to reapply in the future, the effort I will make in the meantime to improve and expand my contributions to Wikipedia may persuade you to reconsider your position. All the best, Proto t c 10:42, 3 February 2006 (UTC)

Hi Shreshth91 - wishing you the best of luck for your exams - prelims, boards, etc. I know personally its a lot of pressure, but you've got a great mind and a long line of well-wishers here. You've made a wise sacrifice by reducing activity now. We support you. Jai Sri Rama! Rama's Arrow 07:42, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

My RFA[edit]

My admin request went up in flames. (But thanks anyways!)
Hey, Shreshth91 (he with the awesome 1337 signature), I wanted to thank you for your support of my (unfortunately unsuccessful) request for adminship. The final tally was 37/16/5, which fell short of the needed 75-80% for "consensus". {{{2}}} I don't know if or when I'll go up for nomination again, but even if I don't, I will try not to betray the trust that you and 36 others were willing to place in me. Thanks for having faith in me... and happy editing! Matt Yeager (Talk?) 00:53, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

Hi, just wanted to thank you for voting on my RFA, which went through with a count of (58/0/1), far better than I'd expected. I intend to take things slowly and start using the extra abilities gradually, but if there's anything I can do just leave a message. Cheers, CTOAGN (talk) 13:54, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

Wikipedians leaving[edit]

Hi Shreshth91. I saw your message on your user page about how we need to stop running off the users like freestylefrappe, Cool Cat and myself. Just to let you know Cool Cat and me have decided to stay on Wikipedia! Freestyle frappe on the other hand I think is gone for good. :-( In even more depressing news, you should see the Wikipedia:Esperanza/Alerts page. Users: Carbonite, Aaron, El_C, Pilotguy, Radiant!, and Aranda56 have all left Wikipedia! Now thats depressing. SWD316 talk to me 06:02, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

Plunger 250x410.jpg

Thanks for taking the time to vote in my RfA, which passed with a final vote of 54/2/1 despite my obvious inadequacy for the job. I'll do my level best to use the mop and bucket — or, as I said in my RfA, plunger — responsibly. Of course, in the best tradition of politicans everywhere, I've already broken a campaign promise (I blocked a vandal last night despite having said "I don't anticipate using the blocking tool very often"). Nevertheless, I'll try not to let the unbridled power corrupt me. —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 14:56, 14 February 2006 (UTC)

Thank you[edit]

Hello Shreshth91, thank you for you support in my RfA. I was promoted with a final count of 48/1/0! If you see me making any mistakes, let me know ASAP. -- WB 02:33, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

I noticed that you made a small list of people who left Wikipedia due to disappointment in Wikipedia, etc. in User:Shreshth91/My Opinion Page. There's something like it at Wikipedia:Missing Wikipedians already, but I thought I'd make a small list User:Water Bottle/sandbox with the recent rise probably due to those userbox wars. So many are leaving... Anyways, if you're interested, feel free to add on to that list. I thought you'd be interested on it. Cheers! -- WB 09:49, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

Hi, I am wishing you a happy Holi, the unique Hindu celebration of color and brotherhood among all members of the humanity. The festival falls on 15th March 2006. I have collected A Gift Pack of Quotations for you contained in the sections Do things Differently & Something More , which are part of the on-going discussion pertaining to my nomination of Idleguy for adminship. You are aware of the tradition that if you throw colored water on flames of burning Holika, you enable a Prahlad to emerge from the flames!!!
