Thank you for providing evidence on a past fixture: that is a significance advance on the information previously offered towards the inclusion of this team on the list. However, I have hidden the text because I think that one match does not necessariky prove that the team is a clear candidate for that list rather than this one. I have suggested some extra issues on the talk page. Kevin McE 09:02, 20 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Caprivi Strip national footabll team

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Caprivi Strip national footabll team, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Caprivi Strip national footabll team. National Football Teams

[edit]

Hi. I don't want to be confrontational, and I am generally in favour of small nations and hopeless football teams, but could you please provide citations for the football teams that you've been creating? I don't want to create loads of deletion requests, and it could easily be avoided through a web link for each article.

A tag has been placed on Transnistria national football team, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Quebec national football team, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://libraryoflibrary.com/E_n_c_p_d_Quebec_national_football_team.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. I thank you for your work to this article, but it does seem rather like what you've done is added just about anything you can think might have a football team. I am particularly nonplussed by the Panama Canal Zone addition - the Panama Canal Zone hasn't existed for almost 20 years, so I'm not sure how it could claim to have an active representational football team. This, I'd remind you, is supposed to be a list of active teams. Also, your page creations for each of the teams that you add often link to their "page" on clubfutebol.com - in each case, that page doesn't exist. I appreciate your efforts to support your claims, and I apologise if I'm wrong here, but it would almost seem that you are making up sources to support your claims, in the hope that no-one will actually follow them up to prove them wrong. If you can support your claims with evidence which links correctly, then please do continue. But if you can't support your claims with evidence then please don't add them at all. An article which lists every team conceivable, whether they exist or not, is not an encyclopædia article, it's a work of fiction.

I'm afraid that I need to undo your recent edits to this article. By all means redo them, but please, only if you add proper evidence of their existence first. Similarly, this is why all of the team articles that you are creating are being deleted again... Falastur2 (talk) 21:54, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. License tagging for Image:Blogimg 144 725 20071010220450.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Blogimg 144 725 20071010220450.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 18:07, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Hawaii national football team, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as articles for deletion. If you can indicate how Hawaii national football team is different from the previously posted material, or if you can indicate why this article should not be deleted, I advise you to place the template {{hangon}} underneath the other template on the article, and also put a note on Talk:Hawaii national football team saying why this article should stay. An admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 4 under General criteria. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please feel free to use deletion review, but do not continue to repost the article if it is deleted. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. We welcome your help in trying to improve Wikipedia, and we request you to follow these instructions. This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you create an inappropriate page, such as Hawaiian football team, you will be blocked from editing. , now re-created 4 or 5 times in the past 2 days and of course deleted by various admins every time. Considering this, I am giving you a final warning that you will be blocked if you repeat it yet again. DGG (talk) 01:15, 16 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Blogimg 144 725 20071010220450.png}

[edit]

Thank you for uploading Image:Blogimg 144 725 20071010220450.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check:

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
