I don't understand what you were doing with Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Timmy Kirk. You nominated the article for deletion. I recommended "delete" as well. And then you closed it as "speedy keep". That's not a proper "speedy keep" situation since someone else (me) wanted to delete the article; see Wikipedia:Speedy keep#Applicability. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 04:15, 21 May 2019 (UTC)
- The same problem applies to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Miguel Alvarez (Oz). --Metropolitan90 (talk) 04:16, 21 May 2019 (UTC)
- And, for clarity, I am requesting that you undo the closures of these AfDs, because they should not have been closed as speedy keep under these circumstances. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 04:19, 21 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Metropolitan90: I just came to say the same thing - speedy keep doesn't apply here, and I suggest you revert your edits. Also, can you explain your nomination of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bob Rebadow and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kareem Saïd, only to close them both as speedy keep less than an hour later? --DannyS712 (talk) 04:20, 21 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Metropolitan90: @DannyS712: The four closed OZ AfD's suggest the user is using the AfD process merely to merely to make a point by opening then speedy closing these noms rather than wanting actual deletion (I have no keep/delete vote! either way since I don't know the show). Never do this again, Shrubwood; AfD is a process which should not be abused like this. Nate • (chatter) 07:00, 21 May 2019 (UTC)
Blocked
[edit]You are blocked for three days for disruptive editing - for repeatedly and purposefully opening and closing bogus AFD discussions. Don’t fool around with spurious nominations like that. Probably read WP:POINT too. Sergecross73 msg me 10:58, 21 May 2019 (UTC)
- I have now provided the appropriate notice of the deletion discussions on Talk:List of Oz (TV series) characters. It's pointless to notify IP's that have been long-abandoned to your AfD's; next time you create a discussion, go through the history list and notify the most active contributors to the articles. Removal from CVUA program
[edit]Hi THEFlint Shrubwood, I am disappointed of you that you nominated Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Timmy Kirk, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Miguel Alvarez (Oz), Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bob Rebadow and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kareem Saïd for deletion and speedy keep them a few hours later just to illustrate a WP:POINT (on your closing statements), where by the speedy keep they doesn't apply under the Wikipedia guidelines. Your actions and edits are disruptive. Although destructive edits are not considered vandalism but repeatedly doing would warrant a block which is exactly you are facing at the moment. You have been doing very well in the Counter Vandalism Unit Academy program and you would know well enough what constitutes good edits and what are not and yet you deliberately disrupt Wikipedia pages which contradict your reason of enrolling in the program. As the motto of the Counter Vandalism Unit is Civility - Maturity - Responsibility which I dont find your fit what representing here, especially on the maturity aspect. In addition Counter Vandalism training is for users who intend to be long-term contributors and members of the community and you dont seem to believe Wikipedia will be around in the future, thus, as the CVUA trainer, I remove you from the program for I find your actions go against the purpose what we are doing here.Thank you.
