[edit]Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Roald Dahl, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. The category being added must already exist, and must be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 17:22, 31 July 2023 (UTC)
- @Doniago Sorry about the article. TayoKid (talk) 17:43, 31 July 2023 (UTC)
- No worries! And if you can find a source that discusses Dahl's work being surrealist, please feel free to improve the article and re-add the category! Thanks for understanding! DonIago (talk) 20:27, 31 July 2023 (UTC)
Please provide sources for your edits
[edit]Hi. I noticed you added "Farrah Dahmer" as a new member of Marilyn Manson (band), as well as on List of Marilyn Manson band members, and at Template:Marilyn Manson. I've searched online - both Google News and at the band's official social media accounts - and found zero confirmation of this. If you wish to test edit, please use your sandbox. If you wish to re-add this information, please provide a reliable source confirming this information before doing so. Kind regards, Homeostasis07 (talk/contributions) 01:03, 1 September 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add or change content, as you did at Erica Lindbeck, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Waxworker (talk) 00:03, 18 September 2023 (UTC)
- I am so sorry about articles. TayoKid (talk) 00:09, 18 September 2023 (UTC)
Infobox company
[edit]Please do not add the "owner" field for subsidiaries. For wholly owned subsidiaries, we only use the "parent" field. Additionally, Activision Blizzard's parent is Microsoft Gaming, not Xbox Game Studios. Both are part of the Microsoft Gaming division now. -- ferret (talk) 01:33, 14 October 2023 (UTC)

Hi @TayoKid. Someone suggested that change "Label" to "Distributor" or something. Your comments are appreciated. Regards. 2001:D08:2941:613:17AD:95F7:2728:56E1 (talk) 13:28, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
Production companies
[edit]Please don't add unsourced production companies, as you did in Special:Diff/1222972038/1223850329. Like any other content on Wikipedia, it needs to be cited to a reliable source. Editors commonly add whatever logos they find on posters or that show up in the film. However, some of these are distributors, some of them are financing companies, and some of them are rights-holders. This is why we let reliable sources determine which companies did what. Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Albums/Album_article_style_advice#Simplifying "Release history" tables
[edit]Hi @TayoKid: Theknine2 suggest that not to use "Label" and "Region" columns via updated table. Your comments would be appreciated. However there's two other users opposed over updated table, so I suggested that change "Label" to "Distributor" column via original table. - For avoid confusion, I re-added two subsections. Please see "Label" or "distributor" and discuss if you like. 2001:D08:2900:370D:17E1:D2C3:9659:318B (talk) 16:48, 13 July 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not change the photo back to the 2010 one. There was a consensus on the talk page to put up the 2024 one instead, as it's newer and clearer. Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 22:56, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
