Speedy deletion nomination of User/Timdwilliamson/JeffSessions edits

[edit]

Hello Timdwilliamson,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged User/Timdwilliamson/JeffSessions edits for deletion, because it seems to be a test. Did you know that the Wikipedia Sandbox is available for testing out edits?

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Blythwood (talk) 07:08, 20 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This seems to be in the main article space. Maybe you meant to put it in your sandbox? All the best. Blythwood (talk) 07:09, 20 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Explaining

[edit]

I patrolled your page. I went through the enormously-backlogged list of newly-created pages and confirmed that your page was okay: not spam, not an attack page, not a copyright violation, not any of the other reasons for which I would delete someone's page without asking. Then I clicked "patrolled" to remove it from the list of "pages that have not yet been patrolled", and moved on to the next entry. That's all. DS (talk) 02:48, 22 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

[edit]

Thanks for the heads up. I'll be home tomorrow and can respond then from my main account.  Etamni mobile |  |  07:22, 7 February 2016 (UTC)  Etamni mobile |  |  07:22, 7 February 2016 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Etamni-m (talkcontribs) [reply]

I really dislike editing from a mobile device! Anyway, a fairly wordy keep vote has been posted to the nomination, with an explanation for the purpose of the template. I guess it's just a wait-and-see situation now. Etamni | ✉   07:35, 8 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks again for the heads up. The nomination has been closed as "keep" -- now the talk page gets to wear a handy-dandy template that tells the world someone wanted to delete it but consensus said to keep it! :) Etamni | ✉   15:13, 28 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Etamni: No problem. I didn't understand the arguments to delete, and thought you'd have a better handle on why it should be saved. - Tim D. Williamson yak-yak 16:57, 28 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
