Tomasz Cimoszewicz moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Tomasz Cimoszewicz, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello Tomasz-Henryk-Ostrowski-2004, the article needs content and sources to support the content claimed. Pls see WP:Your First Article and WP:REFB to familiar yourself how to write an article and provide citations in Wikipedia. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 01:47, 12 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Maria Wojciechowska requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. translated articles[edit]

When you translate an article from another WP into the English Wikipedia , you must say so. See WP:Copying within Wikipedia for an explanation. This applies whether you translate the entire text or only part, or whether you just base your enWP article on it and then add or summarize. It must at least say what article was translated; it should ideally also give the ID number of the edit from the page history. The best practice is to put this as a note at the bottom of the article, and also in the edit summary, but at least one must be done. Articles translated without the link are sometimes deleted as copyvios--which they technically are. As reviewing administrator, I think it much better to fix them by adding the information, but some admins do delete in such cases.

To help you with this, I shall add the necessary information to Zofia Wojciechowska-Grabska. You should then go back and do thesame with your other articles.

In addition, the link should be added to the "languages" list at the left hand side of the page. To do this, you click on the "add link" icon there, and fill in the information. You can do this from either the enWP article or from the original, listing the enWP as the link--the program adds it in the other directions. DGG ( talk ) 17:56, 15 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

And there's something equally important. The Polish WP. like most WPs, is more relaxed about its standard for documentation than the English WP. Other WPs accept a general reference for biographical articles: we do not--we expect every significant fact in the article to have a specific reference. This can sometimes bed ifficult to find, but it's essential. DGG ( talk ) 18:42, 15 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Marian Banaś has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Sources[edit]

Hi, Tomasz. Please do not create more unsourced biographies. All of our articles have to cite reliable sources, especially biographies. If you're translating from Polish you can often copy the references from the Polish Wikipedia. If you ever have any questions, come ask at the Teahouse :) – Thjarkur (talk) 15:54, 29 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

EU institutions[edit]

Hi, thanks for your edits. There is no need to add the nationalities of leaders because they do not represent their countries while in office. Each individual’s nationality is explained in their own article. Thank you again. Kaihsu (talk) 05:56, 11 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
