Welcome from Redwolf24

[edit]

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. We as a community are glad to have you and thank you for creating a user account! Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Yes some of the links appear a bit boring at first, but they are VERY helpful if you ever take the time to read them.

Remember to place any articles you create into a category so we don't get orphans.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, please be sure to sign your name on Talk and vote pages using four tildes (~~~~) to produce your name and the current date, or three tildes (~~~) for just your name. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome.

I'll be darned. I check my 'to do' list only to find out this is no longer a redlink! A great article, keep up the good work! :) --InShaneee 09:12, 12 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Request for edit summary

[edit]

Hi. I am a bot, and I am writing to you with a request. I would like to ask you, if possible, to use edit summaries a bit more often when you contribute. The reason an edit summary is important is because it allows your fellow contributors to understand what you changed; you can think of it as the "Subject:" line in an email. For your information, your current edit summary usage is 1% for major edits and 1% for minor edits. (Based on the last 150 major and 150 minor edits outside the Wikipedia, User, Image, and all Talk namespaces.)

This is just a suggestion, and I hope that I did not appear inpolite. You do not need to reply to this message, but if you would like to give me feedback, you can do so at the feedback page. Thank you, and happy edits, Mathbot 03:30, 16 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

TMNT (2003) Edits

[edit]

Hey, thanks for expanding the trivia section of the TMNT (2003) episode pages, but I'm looking for some uniformity. Should we label episodes with:

  • This episode marks the first appearance of...
or
  • This is the first appearance of...

I really don't know which one I should go with, but thanks for the help. If you'd like to do any plot synopses, I definitely won't mind. :)

Hi, I just noticed your RC on the Tron article and wanted to thank you for improving WP. I saw that you highlighted a link, and I did the same for ENCOM. It looks like ENCOM could easily be merged into the main Tron article since it's just 2 short paragraphs. If I understand things correctly, this would preserve all the info, while helping to streamline WP. What do you think? I've tagged your page on my watchlist, so just reply here. Happy Editing :) Doc Tropics 07:34, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OOPS! I meant the Sark article, NOT the page at Tron. (sheepish grin) Sorry 'bout the confusion. Doc Tropics 07:42, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Dang! that still didn't come out right. I was trying to refer to the Sark (Tron) article that you recently edited.

[edit]

I took her off the Huntress page since she's neither Helena Wayne (that we know of) nor is she Huntress. A one line/link mention of her may be appropriate under Helena Wayne, but frankly it's all spec at this point and doesn't add anything to Huntress artucle. yet. This may be proven differently, but we don't know. -- Ipstenu (talk|contribs) 01:28, 29 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

List of characters appearing in Batman: The Animated Series

[edit]

Hi, I was working on List of characters appearing in Batman: The Animated Series, but the reversals user covenantd made don't aloud me to continue anymore. He was right about something thoug, the article is too long. Maybe Batman, the Joker and Harley could have "sub"articles, and the artice could be splitted in supporting ast and villains. But over all the info need serious shapping, and formating, specially because the article was copypasted from several others. Thanks beforehand. By the way, I loved the way you worked your magic on "Read my lips"!! thanks a bunch.--The Judge 01:03, 10 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Check the page, Shredderman has been modifying it. He appears to be a rookie. Your talents would be appreciated there.
  • ALSO: would you mind if I copy the paragraphs at the top of your user page? I also grew up with B:TAS... Actually with the re-runs on the Warner Channel, I born when the series was starting to air on Fox, but it's kinda the same, actually I learned English using the SAP option once I hnew the episodes almos from memory. Good evening. Per the discussion about privacy concerns expressed at Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons#Privacy of birthdays, date of birth should generally not be added to the biographies of living non-public or semi-public figures. So far, that policy has been interpreted fairly strictly with a pretty high bar being set for the definition of "public figures" who are assumed to have given up their rights to privacy.

By the same token, we should not be adding Category:Date of birth missing to articles unless we have made the case that the person meets the "public figures" threshold. Otherwise, we're just baiting new users into adding content even though the community has already said that we shouldn't include that particular data point. Category:Year of birth missing is okay but the exact date is often not. Thanks for your help. Rossami (talk) 05:35, 29 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Category:Batman: The Animated Series episodes, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Category:Batman: The Animated Series episodes has been empty for at least four days, and its only content has been links to parent categories. You are now a Reviewer

[edit]

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 01:28, 18 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Stark Enterprises requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
