Wilhelmus Adrianus Franciscus Gabriël (Willem) Vermeend (born 21 December 1948, Zuilen) is a Dutch economist and former Labour Party politician, the Secretary of Finance and Minister of Social Affairs in the First and Second Kok cabinet.[1][2][3][4]

He is a Full Professor of European Fiscal Economics at Maastricht University.[4][5]
