See also commons:User:Stannered. There's a gallery, but it only has images I've bulk uploaded with commonist, so the interesting images aren't there.
Sometimes I wish I could add this template to images:
This image, in addition to perhaps being a raster image which should be a vector, a Bad JPEG, an opaque image which should use transparency, or inappropriately low-resolution, is simply butt-ugly. Perhaps it was drawn with MSPaint by a two-year-old, or perhaps the author just wanted to inflict mental trauma on the rest of the Wikipedia community. In any case, the only solution is to redraw or recreate it from scratch, preferably looking at the original as little as possible to avoid brain damage.
I do SVG conversions as well as trying to keep the category for them tidy. In doing so, I come across a lot of butt-ugly images.
Thi's user know's that not every word that end's with s need's an apostrophe and will remove misused apostrophe's from Wikipedia with extreme prejudice.

This user thinks that more Wikipedians would like userboxes if they were edible.
This user is aware of how silly this huge table looks on their user page, but acknowledges that its real purpose is twofold: statistics and standardization.
Hi! I am a userbox with a POV. I won't hurt you, I promise! Pretty please don't deleteme.
