Mitro Bahini (Bengali: মিত্রবাহিনী "Allied forces") was the alliance of the Indian Army and Mukti Bahini that engaged the Pakistan Army in December 1971 during the Bangladesh Liberation War and the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971.[1][2][3]
