August 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page WGN-TV has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \byoutube\.com (links: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h5mzkt4n77s&mode=related&search=). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file. Video links are also strongly deprecated by our guidelines for external links, partly because they're useless to people with slow internet connections.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 01:35, 16 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, please ignore this notice.

Chrishell Stause valid sources[edit]

Hi! I just wanted to let you know that Wikipedia does not consider Twitter or Forums a valid source. I know as it has been pointed out to me a few times. Do you have an actual source like an article from a soap website or a confirmation from Soap Opera weekly? 70.31.220.110 (talk) 20:43, 4 October 2009 (UTC)samusek2[reply]

The Young and the Restless[edit]

I just reverted your last edit to The Young and the Restless because you were removing a lot of sourced information. We should discuss changes like that on the article's talk page here. Rocksey (talk) 22:24, 11 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Due to both your and User:TVFAN24 edits, editing the same pages/templates and making the same br line breaks, I believe you are the same person and you are using a IP address/registered account to get around Wikipedia:3RR and to show there is more support for these changes. You are making unexplained reversions. You need to use an edit summary to explain to other editors why you are making these changes. Adding a line break between a person's name and the years they were on the show is against the formatting found at Template:Infobox television. Per WP:BRD, since your edits have been challenged, you need to bring this dicussion to Template:Infobox television. Aspects (talk) 07:18, 18 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Great job, ignoring the issues I brought up here to do the same things over and over again. Also with this edit, [1] you have reverted the WP:3RR rules between you and your sockpuppet registered account and you NEED to have an edit summary like it says when you click "Undo": "If you are undoing an edit that is not vandalism, explain the reason in the edit summary. Do not use the default message only." This edit was not vandalism. Aspects (talk) 08:32, 18 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Year Ranges[edit]

According to Wikipedia:Manual of Style (dates and numbers), "Year ranges, like all ranges, are separated by an en dash, not a hyphen or slash: 2005–06 is a two-year range, whereas 2005/06 is a period of twelve months or less such as a sports season or a financial year. A closing CE or AD year is normally written with two digits (1881–86) unless it is in a different century from that of the opening year (1881–1986)." Accordingly, please stop changing the year ranges in The Girls Next Door. --AussieLegend (talk) 03:05, 23 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sources[edit]

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. However, per WP:V your recent edit to List of Days of our Lives cast members has been reverted. Fan sites with no affiliation with the show are not considered reliable sources. This includes sites such as soaps.com, soapoperafan.com, tvbuddy, etc. Nbc.com and Soapoperadigest.com are allowed, as long as they are cited. Thank you. Rm994 (talk) 23:07, 26 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I must remind you again about sourcing. If you add material to articles, such as List of Days of our Lives cast members, and don't source it with a verifiable source, it can and will be removed. If you have any questions regarding this policy, please feel free to contact me. Rm994 (talk) 03:20, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not continue to add the departure of Bryan Datillo do the List of Days of our Lives cast members page. He has not exited yet, and your edits are unsourced. Continued addition of unsourced controversial material without the addition of sources could result in your being blocked from editing. Rm994 (talk) 02:49, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Again, you have added unsourced material to the List of Days of our Lives cast members page. You might as well stop wasting your time adding unsourced comings and goings, as I will revert every unsourced change you make. Adding controversial unsourced edits IS critera to have you blocked from editing. Please read our guidelines about sourcing so we can have you helping us make these articles reliable. Thank you. If you have questions please feel free to contact me. Rm994 (talk) 21:10, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have found a verifiable source and will return the content. Thanks. Rm994 (talk) 21:13, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yet again, you have added unsourced material to the List of Days of our Lives cast members page. In case you did not read the above warning, adding unsourced controversial material is criteria to have you blocked from editing. You are free to add whatever changes necessary but ONLY with at VERIFIABLE source. Please read the guidelines. Rm994 (talk) 05:25, 17 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. The next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did to List of Days of our Lives cast members, you will be blocked from editing. Rm994 (talk) 23:39, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add unsourced speculation to wikipedia, as you did to List of Days of our Lives cast members. Your sources for Melissa Reeves and Taylor Spreitler did not give dates. Do NOT add them back without verifiable information. Rm994 (talk) 04:45, 24 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

May 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, you may not know that Wikipedia has a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Using different styles throughout the encyclopedia, as you did in Access Hollywood, makes it harder to read. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. See WP:MOSCAPS regarding capitalization in section headings. Also, "Talent" is not the best word to describe hosts, performers, etc. The changes you made do not seem to improve the articles in this respect. Thanks. Bento00 (talk) 20:37, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Request reason:

Ok.I promise to discuss edits on the discussion page before re adding. Can you please lift the block on my IP address. I did make some very constructive edits over time. I did not mean any harm. I didn't realize this was considered vandalizing. I promise to come to a concensus with administrators before ever editing. I will respect the policy of Wikipedia. Thanks. 98.223.95.42 (talk) 19:51, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

That may be all well and good, but this is not the reason you were blocked. This IP address was blocked because you have been using it to dodge a block at your previously registerred account. What you need to do, if you wish to be unblocked, is to stop trying to get around the block, and instead log into your first account, and request an unblock there. Jayron32 20:04, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

The unfortunate thing is that, at least regarding WGN-TV, I know that most if not all of your information is correct. But knowing it's correct is insufficient. Sources are needed. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 20:02, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You can leave all the pages as you had them and I will never edit again w/o first discussing it on the discussion page. If I ever did something like that again you can block me forever. I will only make constructive edits with sources. Can you please lift my block. Thanks. 98.223.95.42 (talk) 19:51, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Over the past several days, you have excessively edit warred and engaged in sock puppetry in an attempt to control the articles and drive others away from them. You well knew this. You have also been told in the past that you need to add sources for what you are adding, and you have also promised in the past (as TVFAN24) that this wouldn't happen again, and it did. We're not fooled. Unblock request declined. –MuZemike 20:27, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

As explained just above, the reason this IP is blocked is because you are using it to EVADE the block on your primary registered account. You are not allowed to evade blocks by using IPs or setting up more accounts: if you are to be unblocked you will have make an unblock request at your primary account, which addresses the reasons why you were blocked there. Can you please lift my block, one of my kids got a hold of this computer and started making edits w/o my knowledge. I am the owner of this computer and IP address. We cannot tell whose fingers are on the keyboard; also please note that you are blocked for using multiple accounts. If you do come back after your block expires, please limit yourself to only using one account, and I hope you are serious about wanting to seek other opinions before attempting to make edits which may be controversial. Block Change[edit]

User has contacted me and made a please to have her IP block removed. I have altered the nature of the block but should she continue on again with sock puppets or other edits it should be revisited. Please bring any violations to my attention. --Wgfinley (talk) 04:38, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
