If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Eco-Club, Aligarh Muslim University requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. May 2015[edit]

Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at Aligarh Muslim University. Your edits have been reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. Lukeno94 (tell Luke off here) 10:43, 21 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Aligarh Muslim University shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. A tag has been placed on Category:Clubs and Societies of the Aligarh Muslim University requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for four days or more and it is not presently under discussion at Categories for discussion, or at disambiguation categories.

Requirements for a subject of an article[edit]

Proposed deletion of Non-Resident Students' Centre[edit]

The article Non-Resident Students' Centre has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no evidence of significant coverage in reliably third party sources, merely the club's newsletters and self published homages

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 00:55, 27 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Bazmi Husain[edit]

Hello EyThink,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Bazmi Husain for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. . Shlok talk . 10:35, 3 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

We are Editors[edit]

Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.- Antoine de Saint-Exupery
Toyota has, for the past few years, been expanding its business rapidly. Quite frankly, I fear the pace at which we have grown may have been too quick. I would like to point out here that Toyota's priority has traditionally been the following: First; Safety, Second; Quality, and Third; Volume. These priorities became confused, and we were not able to stop, think, and make improvements as much as we were able to before, and our basic stance to listen to customers' voices to make better products has weakened somewhat. We pursued growth over the speed at which we were able to develop our people and our organization, and we should sincerely be mindful of that. Akio Toyoda

While I expect fanboys of Pokemon and celebutants to have trouble creating appropriately sourced and cited content, I am utterly dismayed that what appear to be a group of University students cannot grasp the basic concepts of writing and citing from reliably published sources with reputations for fact checking and editorial oversight.

While there is a significant difference in the expectations of college writing, in that in most college writing you are expected to be advancing a premise, being able to identify appropriate sources should be basic first year concepts. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 11:55, 11 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

User talk:TheRedPenOfDoom For your kind information I am no longer a college student. I left college years ago. In Aligarh Muslim University you are disrupting continuously instead of improving the article. The page have become shorter and shorter with your contribution!!! You are removing the notable alumni's citing that they are not sourced. I just wonder how you are saying that. There already exists the pages of notable alumni so your concern are un found for. Please see Film and Television Institute of India as a handy reference to you.EyThink (talk) 12:02, 11 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It IS improvement of the article to bring it in closer compliance with Wikipedia content policies.
I have trouble understanding how you can look at that list without citations and not see that it is uncited. WP:BURDEN is clear. Before content can be restored, an inline citation must be included. Not a handwave that "there is a source over there somewhere". -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 12:33, 11 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Personal commentary.[edit]

Your commentary here and here and wherever else you may have ranted, is inappropriate. comment on content, not on th editor. It's not your place to criticize another editor for their contributions or to speculate about their motivations. The contributions you have made to Wikipedia have been relatively few, and to a very narrow area of interest. Surely you wouldn't like someone mocking you for that. Keep it civil. Aligarh Muslim University[edit]

What is the problem with you?? Why do your revert the edits? There is a number of citations in reference to the edits?

Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, not a school bulletin board![edit]

Hello. Please stop treating Wikipedia as a school bulletin board, as you have done on multiple articles relating to Aligarh Muslim University. Most of the material you're adding is totally unencylopaedic and should be in a blog or something, not here. Thank you. Thomas.W talk 13:14, 1 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
