"Talk: International Christian Churches"

A tag has been placed on File:Josejoseeltriste.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 01:38, 24 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for January 13[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Archos, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page CES (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Orphaned non-free media (File:KeyLimeCovelogo.gif)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:KeyLimeCovelogo.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:26, 5 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article The Cross (2001 film) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable film

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Personal information and notability[edit]

I'm writing here for two reasons. First, notability. From what I can see from the articles you have created, you are not asserting how these films are notable per WP:NFILM. All films must show notability by way of using reliable sources (WP:RS) that are independent of the film (meaning no official websites) and are in places that Wikipedia would consider to be reliable. This means that blog sources aren't usable for showing notability, as the majority of them are not edited by a board that Wikipedia can verify, if they have an editorial staff at all. Also, sources must go into depth about the subject of the article- in this case the films. For example, [1] this link doesn't back up anything in the article. Just linking to a website isn't enough- you have to show that the website has an article that talks about the film. The thing to remember is that while nobody is doubting that the films exist, just existing is not enough to show notability.

On a more serious note, I noticed that you gave out a LOT of personal information on your user page. You not only gave out your full name, but you gave your date of birth and your hometown. That's enough information for someone to track you down in real life. I know, I know... you're probably rolling your eyes at this and thinking "This isn't going to turn into a horror movie where some pedo tracks me down and does awful things to me". The thing is, you can't guarantee that it won't. It's also likely that someone could use that information to harass and troll you or your family. It's also possible that someone could try to steal your identity using this information. I've deleted the information for your protection. I can't stop you from re-adding it, but I'd like to sincerely request that you don't. You can post some things about yourself, but please do not post so much information that can readily identify you in real life to other people. I'd also like for you to read over Wikipedia:Guidance for younger editors, as it can help give you some valuable guidelines as far as protecting your personal privacy on Wikipedia goes. You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment.
